FLOWCHART

A flowchart is a graphical representation of a workflow or process. It's commonly used in system


development or process modeling to provide a visual overview of the steps involved in completing a task
or achieving a specific goal.

MINI STUDY CASE

A new student wants to know the flow of registering for library members at a university
1. The first step that new students need to take is to complete registration form. Students need to
fill out the registration form provided by the library manually.
2. After that, the officer inputs the form manually
3. Next, the library information system checks the completeness of the data entered, If the data is
incomplete, registrants are asked to complete it again registration form manually. However, if
the data entry is complete, the system will save the form data in the database.
4. After the data is saved, the system will print the member card and obtain it. The physical result is
a membership card which will be handed over to the applicant.
5. Member registration has been completed.
