9. Create a new line underneath the <userSettings> line and paste the
data that was cut in the earlier step.
10. Repeat this process for any other value that needs to persist
through a client update.

11. Close the text editor.
12. Repeat for any other .sysconfig file in the client\config folder.

Notes

NOTE 1: To persist the settings in the sysconfig file related to Azure


Active Directive, in step 5 one would search for "AzureAD" (without
quotes) and move the three lines to within the <userSettings> block.
If there are no values for the three settings, users will have to enter
the tenant information one more time during the next ERP client
launch but then they should persist from that point forward. The three
AzureAD settings that would need to be moved to the <userSettings>
block are below as well.
