What is Web Browser?


A web browser is an application for accessing websites. when a user requests a web page from a particular website,
the browser retrieves its files from a web server and then displays the page on the user’s screen.Browsers are used
on arrange of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Google chrome, safari and Mozilla
firefox are some example of web browser.

Web browsers have many features that make browsing the internet easier and more
convenient.
some most common features of a web browser are:
1. Browser window is the main window that displays web pages.
2. Navigation and address bar where you can enter a URL or search term to navigate to a website.
3. Bookmarks feature allows you to save your favourite websites for easy access later.
4. History feature keeps track of the websites you have visited in the past.

1. 1 . If any programmer wants to develop a program then the programmer can easily test his/her program on
the internet.

concentration power and also decreases your patience.
4. To work on the internet you have to sit for a long time which increases your obesity.

that hackers can exploit to gain access to your computer or steal your data.
• Tracking and privacy concerns: Web browsers track your online activity and collect your personal data such
