2. Exploring the default topology - Method 1 - Browser
A default lab is preloaded in your CML environment. Before you start adding or importing other labs, it is
highly recommended to stop the default lab from running.
There are different methods to start working with CML via DevNet Sandbox. Method 1 explains how to
access the your labs via the browser.
Use the IP address which is visible in the tab “Cisco Modelling Labs” in the DevNet Sandbox to get access to
your CML environment. Click on the IP address or copy this to your browser.
Use the “Username” and “Password” displayed in the previous screenshot to get access to your CML
environment.
5/9
Click on the example topology “Mult Platform Network” to start interacting with its devices.
6/9
3. Exploring the default topology - Method 2 - SSH
You can use the same connection information to get access to your CML environment via an SSH client such
as Putty.
Ensure that you still have a connection via Cisco AnyConnect as described in the first section of this
document.
Open Putty and use the IP Address shown in the paragraph “Cisco Modelling Labs Server” under the tab
“Cisco Modelling Labs”.
7/9
When prompted. Use the provide “Username” and “Password” which were already visible in the previous
screenshot.
As already shown in the console output, you can use the command “list” to show all the available nodes
currently active in CML.
consoles> list
