365 Days to Play and Dream Bigger

Everything we do in life is a choice. When you take action, it’s a choice. When
you don’t take action, it’s a choice. Both create a result - the question is which
result do you want.

Key point when setting goals, it is about what YOU want - not your mother,
your partner, your boss - but YOU.

It’s also essential to remove the shoulds because any goal that starts with “I
should…” will end up feeling heavy and is met with resistance. And let’s not set
goals because they seem to be a popular thing amongst your people.
This is about YOU and YOUR life.

Using the information you’ve gathered in Workbook 1 + 2 it’s time to figure

out what are your top 10 goals.

Remove the Bullshit + Excuses

When you can acknowledge what bullshit and excuses could potentially get in the
way, you can plan ahead and develop a strategy to break through and free from it.

For each goal write down fears, objections, excuses and then come up with a
solution.

Example: I want to run a marathon

Excuse: It’s too cold Solution: Join a Gym + use treadmill
I’m too tired Have an Accountability Partner

NOT ALL GOALS ARE EQUAL

Not all goals are long-term. However, long-term goals are the ones that are being
maintained such as regular exercise. These are habits you want to create and
maintain.

What habits would you like to develop and maintain?

What are your Be, Do and Have goals from your list.

Goals, Goals, Goals

Goals are not all or nothing. They are developed and worked on over a period of
time such as 30 days, 90 days or 365 days and sometimes longer. But if you don’t
work on a goal for a day, a week or a month aka the action step - don’t beat yourself
up over it, instead take action.

Start off slow if you need and then build on it. If you’re trying to run a marathon,
you aren’t going to run 5 miles if you’ve never run before. Instead you develop a
training plan.

Goals are never about perfection but the progress. This is the reason for knowing
your why about your goals. It can help center your, help you refocus.

Tips to be successful

Set Deadlines when you know when you have want to run the marathon or write a
book, not only does this help your planning but it will hold yourself accountable to
you.

Accountability partner is someone that will meet with you on a regular basis
where you state the actions you are going to take during the week or the month -
depending how often you meet. Your accountability partner can also be someone
you can talk to about any resistance or conflict you may experience with your
goals.

Write it down! This is important! There is research (look it up) that you are
increasing your odds of achieving your goal by 42% when you write them down. So
write them in your journal, in a planner, on post it notes and hang them up in your
space.

Declaration
It’s time to write a declaration. This is a positive statement with purpose and
deliberate focus on what you want to create that you can come back to and read
EVERY DAY. Hang it up when you’re done, set reminders on your phone
throughout the day or record yourself and listen to this in the morning and/or
evening. For each goal write a declaration that starts with I AM, I CHOOSE, I
WILL
