(TO THE NOTIFICATION No. 17-31/2023-GDS DATED 20.05.2023)
Sub: GDS online engagement Special Cycle, May 2023– window for fresh
applications in respect of Manipur Division.
The Department had notified the vacancies for various posts of GDSs vide
notification No. NOTIFICATION of even number dated 20.05.2023 under the GDS
online engagement Special Cycle, May 2023. However, due to suspension of
internet facilities in the state of Manipur, the Department had decided vide this
office Addendum Notification of even number dated 11.07..2023 to suspend the
further processing of applications received in respect of offices situated in Manipur
with caveat that a short window for applying the against the notified posts of GDS,
would be provided once the situation is normalized.
2. Now, it has decided to provide a short window to apply against the vacancies
notified in respect of Manipur in the GDS Online Engagement Special Cycle, May-
2023 as per given schedule : -
Special Cycle, May-2023- Manipur Division
Application Window 26.08.2024 to 30.08.2024
Edit/correction Window 31.08.224 to 02.09.2024
3. The candidates who had already applied in for vacancies in Manipur till
suspension of further processing of online applications, need not to apply afresh.
They may, however if they wish, edit their applications/preferences already filled in
during the edit/correction window. The fresh applicants would also be having one

time opportunity to make corrections/edit their application and references, subject
to the conditions mentioned in the descriptive Notification dated 20.05.2023.
4. The age and other eligibility conditions of the fresh applicants would be
determined as on the last date of submission of applications, i.e., 08.07.2023
extended vide notification dated 26.06.2023. The first list of shortlisted candidates
would be declared in the first week of September, 2024. All other terms and
conditions as mentioned in the descriptive notification dated 20.05.2023 would
remain the same.
