About ACP Cloud Security Certification
Alibaba Cloud Cloud Security Certification (ACP Level - Alibaba Cloud Certified Professional) is a
professional technical certification oriented to architects, developers and O&M personnel who use
Alibaba Cloud security products. It covers Alibaba Cloud's core products for security, monitoring and
management. This technical certification states the certification holder possesses these capabilities:
⚫ Has fundamental professional knowledge in IT and network security.
⚫ Is able to develop effective Cloud Security based on Alibaba Cloud's products and services
according to business needs to protect core assets on the Cloud.
⚫ Is skillful in the use and operation of Alibaba Cloud Security (including Server Center, Anti-DDoS
Basic, Anti-DDoS Pro and WAF), Cloud Monitor, RAM and VPC products.
⚫ Familiar with common security risks (including network, host, web app and database risks) and
able to select the optimal Cloud security solutions based on actual situations.

What you need to pass ACP Cloud Security Certification:
⚫ Knowledge about core products in Alibaba Cloud (ECS, SLB, OSS, RDS, VPC and CDN).
⚫ Familiar with the basic concepts and related knowledge of cloud computing, such as virtualization,
storage and networking.
⚫ Familiar with common network protocols such as HTTP, FTP, TCP, UDP and ICMP.
⚫ Has rudimentary knowledge of network security, such as firewall policy, key encryption, access
control, network security, and network attack and protection.
⚫ Familiar with Alibaba Cloud security products and solutions, including: Security Center, Anti-DDoS,
WAF, Content Moderation, SSL, KMS, RAM and ECS security groups, etc.

✓ Security application solution design, such as correct understanding and handling after
receiving alerts from the console, e-mails or text messages, including discovering DDoS
attacks, brute force password cracking attacks, web SQL injections among other
common security risks and taking appropriate measures for protection.
⚫ Cloud computing-related product (ECS, Server Load Balancer, OSS, RDS, VPC and CDN) content:
✓ Understanding the positioning, main features, working principles and application
scenarios of the above products.
✓ Understanding common security risks of the above products, and security advantages of
their combined solutions.
