That is why our clients and their objectives are the core focus of our activity.
For Sigmadaf it is essential that every project is solved with the efficiency and
success that all our clients deserve.
Staying true to these fundamental philosophies and values has enabled us to remain at the forefront for a
long time and establish Sigmadaf’s outstanding reputation in the water treatment industry.

DAF systems are wastewater clarification equipment that remove solid particles,
fats and oils in water, substantially reducing chemical oxygen demand (COD) and
biological oxygen demand (BOD). They have also demonstrated great efficiency

OUR TECHNOLOGY
FACILITIES AND INNOVATION
All equipment supplied by Sigmadaf is designed and
manufactured entirely in our facilities.
Factory 4.0
Our production facilities occupy a main unit measuring
2,800 m2, which is divided into two parallel spaces
each equipped with crane bridges and with special large
independent accesses to facilitate logistics operations. The
main unit is for manufacturing stainless steel equipment
and general final assembly prior to shipment. We also have
a fully equipped auxiliary unit measuring 1,000 m2 for
producing carbon steel equipment. All this is complemented
by a service of auxiliary workshops, selected and adhered
to our quality control processes, located in our facilities.
QUALITY
DESIGN CONTROL MAINTENANCE
All the production actions of our equipment are geared towards the optimization, traceability, maximum
quality and sustainability of the final product. The result is a wide range of standardized technical
solutions that allow us to meet the requirements, specifications and objectives agreed with our clients.
For this, we use the latest 3D design tools, which allow us to meticulously plan every last detail and
component of the equipment to be manufactured. During the manufacturing phase, each machine
component is identified with a unique code to monitor the condition of each part and simplify subsequent
assembly.
On the metallic parts of our equipment (chassis, structure, reinforcements, etc.), this code is laser
engraved so that error is completely eliminated from the assembly process.
This minimizes any failures that could occur during manufacturing, enhancing the quality, reliability
and durability of our products. Before being delivered to the client, each equipment undergoes various
quality and performance tests to ensure its perfect condition.

We have developed a range of DAF equipment that allows us to offer efficient solutions for our clients’
objectives and requirements. Our range of DAF systems includes:

• Thicker sludge, resulting in lower residual sludge production and reduced management and treatment

• DAF systems do not need to produce heavy flocs for the sedimentation process, achieving a shorter
flocculation time using a smaller coagulant dose.
• The DAF process operates at higher surface load rates. If sludge is removed mechanically, there is no

(1) Total feed solids (TSS + O&G + other). (2) Aprox water recirculation flow rate. Actual value is calculated based on Solids (1), the applied ASR (air to solids ratio) and the
water conditions (TDS, Temp., saturation pressure). (3) DAF tank Height-C depends on the use or not of bottom skimmer.
