A three-day event designed to engage participants from various domains in fun and

interesting activities centered around finance and economics. The event aims to promote
financial literacy in an entertaining way, with minimal technical jargon, ensuring inclusivity
for all participants.

Event Structure:
Day 1: Round 1 (Quiz Round)
Day 2: Round 2 (Stock Market Simulation)
Day 3: Round 3 (Entrepreneurial Challenge)
Assume 100 teams in Round 1, 30 teams in Round 2, and 8 teams in Round 3.
Day 1: Round 1 - Financial Quiz Challenge
Objective: Test participants' basic knowledge of finance and economics in an engaging quiz
format.

Structure:

Total Teams: 100


Advancing Teams: 30
Instructions for Participants:

Each team must consist of 2-4 members.


The quiz will have 3 sections: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), True/False, and Short
Answer Questions.
Each section will contain 20 questions.
Each question must be answered within 30 seconds.
Use of mobile phones or any external help is strictly prohibited.
Requirements:

Question papers and answer sheets


Pens and pencils
Projector and screen for displaying questions
Timer/stopwatch

Objective: Introduce participants to the basics of stock trading and market dynamics in a fun,
simulated environment.

Advancing Teams: 8
Instructions for Participants:
Each team will receive virtual currency to invest in a simulated stock market.
The market will have fictional companies with varying stock prices.
Teams must buy and sell stocks over several simulated trading rounds.
Teams must track their portfolio value and make strategic decisions based on market news
and trends.
Requirements:

Computers or tablets for each team


Stock market simulation software
Projector for displaying market trends and news
Market news updates (fictional scenarios)
Sample Market Scenarios:

A major tech company releases a new product, causing its stock prices to soar.
An economic downturn affects the financial sector, causing a drop in stock prices.
Scoring:

The portfolio value at the end of the simulation will determine the team’s rank.
Teams with the highest portfolio values will advance to the next round.
Day 3: Round 3 - Entrepreneurial Challenge
Objective: Encourage creative thinking and entrepreneurship through a business idea pitch
competition.

Structure:

Total Teams: 8
Instructions for Participants:

Each team must develop a simple business idea and create a basic business plan.
Teams will present their ideas in a pitch format to a panel of judges.
The pitch should include the business concept, target market, revenue model, and marketing
strategy.
Each pitch will be followed by a Q&A session with the judges.
Requirements:

Presentation equipment (laptops, projectors, screens)


Judges’ panel (3-5 industry experts)
Presentation materials (slides, handouts)

Business Concept: 30%


Feasibility: 30%
Creativity: 20%
Presentation Skills: 20%
