Instructions for the Opening of Classes:
1. Day 1 must already be a class day.
2. The Lesson Exemplars & Worksheets for K, Gr 1,4,7 must be made available for the 1st quarter
and must be used on time according to its intent. Production must be perfected.
3. In extreme and isolated cases where Distance Learning is adopted/adapted, our modular approach
apart from online /offline must be maximized.
4. Enrollment gaps should be religiously addressed. Use your last year’s enrollment as your
threshold. Please report your enrollment progressively/daily so DepEd CO can see our changing
enrollment towards hitting our target.
5. All teachers in K, 1,,4,7 must have already been trained on the MaTaTaG Curr. If there are still
untrained teachers, they must be trained on creative/flexible scheduling and or be coached time
after time.
6. Our DRRM system where our focal persons are at the forefront should be functional and
operational ensuring that problems in classrooms and facilities are captured and reported for
immediate action to be taken.
7. Division and District Leaders/Officials (Supervisors, M&E Teams etc) should be fielded to your
districts and schools for next week and the weeks after to monitor the schools and classes
operations and provide technical assistance when needed. The Region will send monitors as well
next week.
8. Classes must already be organized, class programs must be hung already at the doors of every
classroom.
9. Per RO, NMP and NRP will be implemented using teacher-made learning resources while waiting
for the materials from CO.
10. Catch-up Friday shall also be on hold while waiting for the final instructions from RO and CO.
Friday classes shall proceed as scheduled.
11. School Heads are to prepare and submit the SLAC implementation plan using our template. The
deadline is August 16, 2024.
12. The deadline for submitting the School Class Program with Teachers Load is August 30, 2024.
13. MAPEH under MATATAG Curriculum: 1. Grade 1 is under Makabansa. 2. Grade 4 & 7 MA/PEH
or MAPEH *MA- means (Music- Arts) straight 4 weeks *PEH-means PE & Health Straight 4
weeks for a Total: 8 weeks(1 Quarter) 3. Other grade levels MAPEH(MELC) 4. 5 Times per
week or daily.
14. For K, Grades 1,4,7, teachers will no longer prepare the DLL/DLP if lesson exemplars and lesson
scripts are available. Teachers handling other grade levels will still prepare the DLL/DLP.
15. All LDN teacher-made lesson exemplars and learning activity sheets (outputs during the SBTT)
must be submitted on or before August 30, 2024 (Final call).
16. Schedules of reading and numeracy assessments must be strictly followed. Refer to DO 009 s.
2024 re: Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2024-
2025.
