CHECKLIST FOR INSPECTION & TESTING OF PA/ BACKGROUND MUSIC SYSTEM

1.00 Check the speakers are installed as per approved shop drawings.
2.00 Verify that the types & brand /models of speakers are installed as per
approved pa equipment-list.
3.00 Check all cables run to speakers for continuity & faults. Rectify faulty
wirings. Verify that cable types and size are as approved cable list.
4.00 Check operation of each speaker for clarity of sound and operation with
respective & individual volume control unit.
5.00 PA Main Equipment.
.01 Check the PA rack e/w equipment is according to approved
shop drawing.
.02 Verify that the types & brand /models of equipment are as
per approved shop drawing.
.03 Verify the operation of each microphone
.04 Verify the wiring of speakers are as per approved shop
drawings.
.05 Verify the operation of FM Tuner, cassette deck & cd players
with speakers. Check the sound produced are clear & smooth.
.06 Verify that the emergency paging operation is working
properly.
.07 Verify the operation & announcement of emergency voice
recorder manages during fire alarm conduction.
.08 Verify the operation & backup time of the PA rack during
power failure to ensure smooth operation of paging.
.09 Record all test results in test & commissioning reports that are
submitted & signed by Sub-contractor & witnessed RE/COW
