2. The lack of repairs in the residence allotted will not entitle the allottee to get any extension
beyond the period of 14 DAYS for taking over physical possession thereof, as specified in the rules

3 In case of non acceptance of allotment or failure to occupy the allotted residence after acceptance, the
allottee shall not be eligible for another allotment for a period of one year from the date of issue of the
allotment letter.
4. In case the allottee fails to accept the change of residence offered to him within 21 DAYS of the issue
allotment letter, he/she shall not be considered again for a change of residence of that type.
5. The allotment is not valid, if the allottee has been transferred outside Chandigarh, Panchkula or Mohali
before the date of his/her taking over the possession of the residence allotted.
6. As per rule SR-317-AM-4 no employee is eligible for allotment of Government residence if he/she or his/her
spouse or any of his/her dependent children owns a house at Chandigarh or at the adjoining urban estate of
Panchkula or Mohali unless he/she is willing to pay double the normal licence fee. The allottee will be liable to
inform his Drawing and Disbursing Officer as well as the Asstt. Controller (F&A)Rents, Chandigarh
Administration, for deduction of double the normal licence fee in case he/she is covered under the said rule.
This condition is however not applicable in the case of allotment of earmarked residence.
7. In case of allotment of residence of transit accommodation pool, the officer shall have to vacate the said
residence on the allotment of the entitled eategory from Chandigarh Administration General Pool.
8. In case of allotment of earmarked house, the allottee shall have to vacate the earmarked house
immediately after he ceases to hold the post for which the residence stands earmarked.
9. He will inform the House Allotment Office as well as Asstt. Controller(F&A), Rents, Chandigarh
Administration regarding his/her transfer outside the eligible office, failing which he/she will not be entitled
for the benefit of permissible period under rules.
10. The allottee will clear the Final bills of Electricity/Water charges as well as up to date clearance of the
outstandingg amount of licence fee in respect of the house in question, from the office of the Assistant
Controller (F&A) Rents, U.T., Chandigarh before handing over the vacant possession of the house to the
Work Inspector, Occupation/Vacation of the area concerned.

6. As per rule SR-317-AM-4 no employee is eligible for allotment of Government residence if he/she or his/her
spouse or any of his/her dependent children owns a house at Chandigarh or at the adjoining urban estate of
Panchkula or Mohali unless he/she is willing to pay double the normal licence fee. The allottee will be liable to
inform his Drawing and Disbursing Officer as well as the Asst. Controller (F&AJRents, Chandigarh
Administration, for deduction of double the normal licence fee in case he/she is covered under the said rule.
This condition is however not applicable in the case of allotment of earmarked residence.
7. In case of allotment of residence of transit accommodation pool, the officer shall have to vacate the said
residence on the allotment of the entitled category from Chandigarh Administration General Pool.
8. In case of allotment of earmarked house, the allottee shall have to vacate the earmarked house
immediately after he ceases to hold the post for which the residence stands earmarked.
9. He will inform the House Allotment Office as well as Asstt. Controller(F&A), Rents, Chandigarh
Administration regarding his/her transfer outside the eligible office, failing which he/she will not be entitled
for the benefit of permissible period under rules.
10. The allottee will clear the Final bills of Electricity/Water charges as well as up to date clearance of the
outstanding amount of licence fee in respecet of the house in question, from the office of the Assistant
Controller (F&A) Rents, U.T., Chandigarh before handing over the vacant possession of the house to the
Work Inspector, Occupation/Vacation of the area concerned.
