ABOUT THE PROJECT
Working with Application Programming
Interfaces (or APIs) to include great features in
APIs your application. We'll be working with new
OpenAI APIs too!
Introduction to Blockchain, Web3 and
Cryptocurrencies and how decentralized systems
work.
Blockchain and Crypto
By the end of the project, mentees will be
implementing a blockchain based decentralized
application which uses APIs to do a certain task.
What is API ?
Application Programming Interface, helps to integrate technology implemented elsewhere into
applications.
For eg. you want to use map or geolocation feature in your app, you don't need to deploy your GPS
satellites and make a map out of scratch, you can just use Google Maps API that they provide for free
for developers!
What is Blockchain?
Blockchain is a series of blocks where each block is a result of computations done by computers all over
the world using cryptography in a way that's very hard to undo.
Todays decentralised systems are built on the top of a blockchain, as people want less trust on
institutions i.e. transparency, privacy and security of data and blockchain provides all of them.

PREREQUISITES
You should know what nested loops are!
Familiarity with basics of any prog. language
Javascript or Python is preferred
(But anyway we'll teach Js and Python in the first week)

Not much of chatGPT unless its the API
