Class Rules: Date: 7-29-

2024

Simple acts of kindness can go a long way. Implementing these rules can help
create a positive and productive learning environment for my students.
1. Respect: Treat classmates, teachers, and school property with respect. Listen when
others are speaking and use polite language.
2. Punctuality: Arrive on time for class and submit assignments by their due dates.
Being late disrupts the class and affects learning.
3. Preparedness: Come to class with all necessary materials, including textbooks,
notebooks, and writing tools. Be ready to participate and engage in lessons.
4. Participation: Actively participate in class discussions, group work, and activities.
Sharing ideas and asking questions enhances learning for everyone.
5. Attention: Focus on the lesson and avoid distractions, such as mobile phones, unless
permitted for educational purposes.
6. Homework: Complete all homework assignments to reinforce learning and practice
skills taught in class.
7. Academic Integrity: Do your own work. Cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of
dishonesty are not tolerated.
8. Classroom Behavior: Follow the teacher’s instructions, stay seated during lessons
unless otherwise instructed, and raise your hand to speak.
9. Cleanliness: Keep the classroom clean and tidy. Dispose of trash properly and take
care of personal belongings.
10.Safety: Follow safety rules, especially during practical activities or physical education
classes. Report any hazards or accidents immediately.
11.Courtesy: Be courteous to everyone in the school community.
12.Dress Code: Adhere to the school's dress code or uniform policy. Proper attire
contributes to a focused learning environment.
13.Digital Etiquette: Use technology responsibly. This includes using devices only for
educational purposes during class time and following the school's guidelines on internet
use.
14.Respect for Diversity: Show respect for cultural, religious, and personal differences.
Bullying, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
15.Listening Skills: Practice active listening. Pay full attention when the teacher or a
classmate is speaking and refrain from side conversations.
16.Self-Discipline: Manage your own behavior and maintain self-control. This includes
staying on task and not disrupting the class.
17.Feedback: Be open to receiving constructive feedback and use it to improve your work
and behavior.
18.Responsibility: Take responsibility for your actions and their consequences. Own up to
mistakes and learn from them.
19.Collaboration Rules: Follow guidelines for collaborative work, such as assigning roles
within groups, respecting deadlines, and contributing equally.
20.Noise Level: Keep noise levels appropriate for the activity. Speak softly during group
work and be quiet during individual work or exams.
