So let's click on open a testing page return to this current tab when
you're ready for the next instructions and keep both tabs open for the
duration of the test so you can see here that we have two of these tabs
open and let's go and get the instructions.
So task one is to find the article called protecting your privacy while
testing think aloud as you look for it what made it easy or hard to find
when you were looking the more you share the better okay so we are
looking for an article called protecting your privacy while testing so we
can look for this we are already on the faq menu and i can already see at
the top here this furthest one to the right says protecting your privacy
while testing so let's click this and what else were meant to do okay that
was it that's very very easy to find so this is the article right here
protecting your privacy while testing and if we go back it was actually
very easy to find it was very useful that it was at the top and yeah I
found it very very simple and no real frustrations to that .
So let’s pass to the next task. This task asks us spend one to two minutes
reading the section about what information you should never share was
the information clear why or why not so what we are looking for is
information i should never share that is highlighted right here so we can
simply click on this and right here it automatically takes us to this
section of the article that says is there information i should never share
okay so the prohibited personal information that you should never share
is
credit card driver's license number
car loan personal financial
account number passport number account
numbers social security number specific
genetic information biometric
identifiers uh such as fingerprints or
anything like that health plan account
benefactory numbers so you should
also you should never make a purchase and you can read through the rest
of the article here and once again this was very very simple i really liked
the fact that you
can just get a link that takes you straight over to this section of the article
very very easy to find once again and the information was very clear
about what to share and what not to share ok we have done that.
Ok let’s click next and head to the third task. This task says according to
the article you found which of the following information is never safe to
share now we can once again simply go back and look at this article so i
know that financial account
Number is certainly not safe however it does not say anything right here
about an email address, or phone number or home address once again it
doesn't say anything about a home address.
So we can click on next now. Task four says now find the article called
contributor code of conduct and uh once again we need to review this
and keep the important points in mind so this is contributor code of
conduct once again very very easy to find it's simply under the articles in
this section area we can click on this link and we are taken to the
contributor code of conduct once again very very simple to find so let’s
just read through this uh although testing is a fun way to make a little
extra cash it's a serious business for our customers so we ask that you
don't accept any tasks that you're not ready to focus on and give your
honest and constructive feedback so we agreed to the terms of service
that is absolutely correct and here are some important points to keep in
mind so this is the area that we really need to hone in on as that's what it
asks for in the article in the task story so it says
here are some important things to keep in mind
you need to be at least 18 years of age which i am
you will provide us with accurate and up-to-date profile
information which i have already done
create one account which i have you will not allow anyone else to
use your account ok i will not do that uh
you will not conduct any tests while traveling outside of the
country you're listed in your profile nope I live here not going
anywhere.
Now under testing these are important points for testing
you will answer screener questions honestly and not accept any uh
any tests when you don't require when you don't meet the stated
requirements i will not do that.
you will not communicate directly with customers outside of user
testing or solicit work from them okay.
you will ensure that your feedback and recordings are appropriate
for public display the recordings are provided to customers for
their business use once again that is by me.
we welcome honest and constructive feedback but you must refrain
from using obscene inappropriate or offensive language images or
communication if participating in a live conversation test that
requires a face recording you will be aware of what your webcam
displays and keep things appropriate so i'm guessing this doesn't
mean like any naked statues in the back.
you will not copy or take screenshots of any part of the test you
might end up testing websites or apps that aren't public yet so you
promise to keep all of the test information confidential.
.
That is absolutely fine by me so I have reviewed all those those so we
can click on next
This task says “name one important point that you remember from the
article” so the point that i'm going to go with that i remember from the
article is about personal account safety you should not be sharing your
account with anybody else don't travel outside of the country just to
name a few refrain from using any obscene language as this is going to
be given back to a customer um you know just things that common sense
really the things that you would expect.
let's click on it next any final thoughts not particularly i really enjoyed
using the user testing website I found it very streamlined and simple that
we have the tasks in one tab and this in the other tab the website we are
testing i found the user testing area right here where it tells us about
things very very easy to use and simple to find information.
