Greetings from the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters!
We are happy to inform you that the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National
Headquarters, New Delhi is going to organize National Youth Adventure Programme at
Bhanupul, Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Schedule of NYAP at Manali during the year
2024-2025 are furnished here under:

For the booking of seats: Scout Guide Welfare Fund Rs. 500/- as registration fee per
head is to be paid in advance which is non-refundable but can be adjusted in other
programme within the same financial year (In the case of Covid-19 like situation it will
be adjusted in next financial year). The Booking confirmation will be informed after
receiving of registration fee. For direct deposit through Bank, the Bank charges will be
borne by the candidates/Institution. To motivate cashless transactions, participants
can do online Transactions/MPS/RTGS/NEFT/Others using following bank details: -

The Scout Guide Welfare Fund is @ Rs. 3500/- per head (This will cover
accommodation, food, souvenir/gift item and activities). The Applications, Medical &
Risk certificate should be produced at the time of Registration. Without Application,
Medical & Risk Certificate, participants will not be admitted. Total fee will cover all
expenses on programme such as Food, Accommodation, Training Equipment, Gift item
and other miscellaneous expenses. Accommodation will be on tents only (Ground
sheet, mattress will be provided) Each Participant will be awarded National Level
Participation Certificate on successful completion of the programme.
Booking will be made on “First Come First Serve Basis”. Selection Letter will be sent
on receipt of Scout Guide Welfare Fund as registration fee Rs. 500/- per head along
with number of participants (male & female). Balance amount Rs. 3000/- per head is
payable in cash/through bank transfer at the time of registration in the campsite. One
Escort must be deputed with a group of 1 to 15 Boys/Girls. Lady escort must be
deputed with the female participants. Escorts should also register and pay the full fee
along with Application and Medical Certificate. No one is permitted to stay in the
camp without Registration and Medical Certificate. No age limit for escort
teacher but he/she should be physically & medically fit. Preference may
please given to under 60 years of age.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: It is open to all the members of The Bharat Scouts and
Guides, all the Educational Institutions, Adventure clubs and other Youth
Organizations who are interested in promoting and participating in adventure
activities for the age group 12 to 45 years, who is medically and physically fit and can
bear the strain of adventure. Any individual can participate with identity proof.
PROGRAMME: Tentative Programme may be Expedition, Trekking, Local Sightseeing
to Jagatsukh, Hidamba Temple, Manali City, Solang Valley/Golaba, Rock Climbing,
Rappelling, Valley Crossing, Archery shooting, of Obstacles crossing, Many Fun-Bases
etc. Daily Camp Fire at night is another attraction of the programme.
HOW TO REACH: Bhanupul, Manali, Himachal Pradesh
Nearest Railway station is Chandigarh Direct buses are available from New
Delhi and Chandigarh to Manali. Get down at Bhanupul before arriving Manali
Bus Stand. Bhanupul is about 01 KM after Green Tax, Manali.
THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BRING FOLLOWING MATERIALS WITH THEM
1. 01 No. of Stamp size colour photograph (recent one).
2. Water Bottle, Torch etc.
3. Note Book, Pen, First Aid Kit, Cold Cream and Odomas etc.
4. Hunter/ Sport Shoes, Extra Pairs of Socks & Slippers.
5. Plate, Glass, Spoon, Full Sleeves T-Shirt, Jeans and Track-Suits, extra wearing
cloths and costumes for cultural items. One set of correct and complete
uniform as per APRO Part – II & III. (For Scouts & Guides only). Temperature
will be cold. Warm bedding is recommendation with mosquito net.
6. Any other items as per the need of the individual.
7. Each participant has to carry mask, hand-sanitizer and soap for personal use.

SAFETY: The Bharat Scouts and Guides take every care of the participants sincerely,
but the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters will not be responsible
for any accident, illness or injury during or after the programme. The escorting
teachers should take extra precaution/care of their students before the camp,
during the camp and after the camp
NOTE: 1. Without confirmation letter participants will not be admitted in the camp.
