Tell me about yourself:
I am 25 years old and I have just graduated the MA in Translating Contemporary text. I have worked for Genpact for about one year and a half as an Accounts Payable Analyst and now I am working for Orcale for about one year and a half as an Expense Reporting Analyst. I like traveling, watching movies, swimming and I have a big passion for Ancient history.
2. Why do you want to work for us? I find this position as a great chance to apply my previous experience as an Accounts Payables Analyst and an opportunity to bring my contribution both into the companys benefit, both into my personal benefit.
3. Why do you want to quit your job? Because I am interested in a new challenge and an opportunity to use my previous experience and skills within your company. I am interested in a job with more responsibility because I am hard working person and I dont want that this willing for new challenges have an impact over my current job.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES: ORACLE the main responsibility is to process expense reports for reimbursement in compliance with Oracle Travel and Entertainment policy to offer support via email or phone to the employees that have some questions regarding their expense reports to run reports on a regularly basis , like backlog reports or reports that show the expense reports that have been processed in a certain period of time to run reports that cancel the payment at the end of the month and then reports that schedule the month opening for the AP team to make the payments to deal with Compliance Office queue. This is the most recent responsibility that I got and it deals with the approval for submitting expenses later than 30 days. I am the only person in charge with this at a global level. All Oracle employees, worldwide, that submit an expense report later than 30 days have to ask for an approval in which they provide a justification for the delay. Based on it, I decide whether to approve the expense reports or not.
GENPACT: process vendor invoices and credit memos in Oracle system according to the VAT codes ensure that the invoices have been processed only once offer support to the suppliers via email of phone in case there were some issues with the invoices to match the PO invoices with the PO in the system to check VAT codes and change if necessary
5. What are your expectations for this job?
I would like to work into a dynamic environment, to be per formant and also acknowledged for my achievements. I would like to have the opportunity to grow within your company after I have acquired enough knowledge.
6. Why are you suitable for this position? Because I have previous experience in Accounting, because I can acquire a lot of information within a short period of time, because I can successfully take over new responsibilities, because I am able to work within a high pressure environment, because I can adapt within any team due to my sociable character.
7. Qualities/ Flaws Qualities: attention to details, ability to manage multiple tasks, reliable, good team player, punctual
Flaws: Perfectionist- I like to make sure that my work is perfect so I spend a little to much time to double check it. However, I have come to learn to set a system to ensure that everything is done correctly from the first time.
8. What do you like about your current job? I like my team, my management, I like when I have good results because this gives me professional satisfaction. I liked it also when I got new responsibilities because that demonstrated that I am a reliable person within my team.

What did you like when you worked for Genpact?
I liked that I could acquire completely new information within the Accounting field. I had graduated Foreign Languages Department and, on that time, I had no idea about this field. But being able to learn and develop myself within this area gave me a lot of professional satisfaction. It was my first job and I learned what working in a team means. I gained a lot of personal and professional experience.

What didnt you like about working for Genpact?
There wasnt anything that I didnt like, but I quit the job because the position I am working for right now enables me to use Greek language and in that time it represented a challenge for me as I had graduated Modern Greek department. After graduation I wanted to see whether I could use the knowledge I had already acquired. And I did it successfully.
12. Explain a situation when you had to deal with an unpleasant situation/ high pressure environment?
There was fiscal year closure in May and I had to deal with high volumes and tight deadlines. I had one day 400 emails in my inbox that had to be closed within 2 days. And I managed it. This was besides my other tasks.

How would you like to be your manager?
I would like to be able to go to my manager If I have an issue and feel comfortable to express my opinion. I would expect my manger to be an honest person and let me know if there is anything I could do to improve or do my work differently. I consider feedback, positive or negative, very constructive. I would also expect that my manager could understand my
needs as an employee. Of course, these things take time but I would like to develop this kind of relationship with my manger.
14. What problems have you encountered at your work and how did you manage it?
I remember that once I had found a major flow into an expense report. One of my colleagues had approved an iPhone of 800 eur which is not supposed to be reimbursed through expenses. I asked her to fix the issue before some others employees start asking these kind of expenses to be reimbursed. So I asked her to send an email to the employee and ask him to create an expense report with 800 eur.

Describe yourself-
efficient and highly organized and this enables me to do my job as productive as possible. I am very sociable and I enjoy working with different people.

How do you handle stress?
I actually work better under pressure and I have discovered that I enjoy working in a challenging environment. Stess helps me to prioritize my responsibilities to have a clear idea of what needs to be done.

What motivates you?
Ive always been motivated by the desire to do a good job irrespective of the position I am in. I want to be successful in my job, both for my personal satisfaction and for my employers satisfaction. I am also motivated by achieving my goals.

Are you a self motivator?
I am a very active person and I enjoy my work. I am always looking for new and innovative ideas to bring to the project I am working for and I am always looking ahead for a new one. I have always been self motivated, always wanted more and wanted to learn new things to develop myself in various fields.
Questions after the interview:
In case the interview is successful. I was told that the contract can have a maximum length of 4 years. I would like to know if during these 4 years are there any possibilities of promotion. Of course, after I have acquired all the necessary experience. How will my work be evaluated?
