What does great customer service mean to you? Can you give us
an example when you’ve demonstrated great customer service?
I believe the customer is central to every business.profits are
certainly ultimate goal.A business is nothing without its
customers and it’s vital to recognise this.
I had to deal with a very dissatisfied customer who was not
happy with the solution of other team member.Rather than let
the complaint escalate, I took the time to calmly and patiently
listen to the customer and to demonstrate that I understood and
empathised with their concerns. It turned out that they had
principally misunderstood what was being offered and once
realisation set in, they were actually quite happy
Can you give us an example of when you’ve been part of a great
team and the role you played?
In my last job, I work as part of a team, processing orders and
liaising directly with our customers by telephone to handle and
resolve any problems or queries.my manager to took a decision
to hire new member of staff. As one of the experienced members
of the team, my manager asked if I could take him under my
wing and help him to get trained.he learned very quickly and
within the week he was fully up to scratch and has since become
an invaluable member of the team
The greatest customer service I received was through an online
shoe retailer.I ordered a pair of shoes for myself and found them
less expensive somewhere else. So I called the customer service
person was so cheerful from the get-go. She happily adjusted the
price (per their guarantee) and even offered to upgrade my order
to overnight shipping.
When the shoes arrived, they were too small for my legs,I
ordered another pair, then found them less expensive at another
site. So I called again to have adjust the price. This
representative was also extremely cheerful. While she was
changing my order I mentioned the story about the first order I
placed with them. She said, "Well, I wouldn't want you to have
to wait another day longer," and she, too, offered to upgrade my
order to free overnight shipping.
Very pleasant, wonderful shopping experience. Not to mention
they price match (plus 10% of the difference), they have free
shipping, free return shipping and a 28 day return policy.
Obviously I would highly recommend them to anyone.
