Title: Pandan leaves extract as an alternative perfume

Introduction

Pandanus leaf or Pandanus Amaryllifolius is a plant that acts as a natural fragrance agent.
Pandan leaves, with their vibrant green hue and distinct aroma, have long captivated the
senses and culinary traditions across Southeast Asia. Beyond their culinary applications, these
fragrant leaves have also found their place in the world of perfumery, offering a unique and
captivating scent profile that evokes images of tropical landscapes and exotic blooms.
(Laksanalamai and Ilangantileke, 1993; Hien et al., 2006) Delicate yet potent, the fragrance of
pandan leaves infuses perfumes with a fresh, sweet, and slightly floral note, adding depth
and complexity to fragrance compositions. As a natural and sustainable ingredient, pandan
leaves bring an eco-conscious allure to perfumery, resonating with those who seek both
sensory delight and environmental responsibility in their scent choices. In this introduction,
we'll delve into the fascinating world of pandan leaf perfume scent, exploring its origins,
characteristics, and the creative ways it enhances olfactory experiences.
