Portfolio Project Overview

This project will challenge you to work on real-world problems faced by companies and propose
solutions as a product manager. You have to submit it anyways, so better to enjoy the process and go
deep into the Product and sector you have got and get an experience of working as a PM

Project Components
Part 1 Research and Problem Identification

1. Competitive Analysis & Market Analysis


Evaluate competitors to identify key market opportunities and gaps.
2. Product Teardown
Break down the product’s features to understand what works and what doesn't.
3. User Persona & Empathy Mapping
Identify target users, conduct Primary research and create empathy maps to understand their
pain points and motivations.Use Research Frameworks
4. Problem Definition
Frame the problem you are solving using the Jobs to be Done model or user actions
5. User Flows Define key user flows to highlight how users will navigate the product to complete
specific tasks.

Part 2 Ideation, solutioning and designs

6. Ideation and solutioning - Prioritizing the market gaps and user pains and ideating
7. Feature Prioritization List all features you'd like to include, then prioritize them into P0
(must-have) and P1 (nice-to-have) categories.Use PM frameworks for this
8. Designs Define the user flow and designs of new feature along with a prototype
9. Go-To-Market Strategy and growth strategy Plan the launch strategy to introduce your product

● Goal: Find gaps/opportunities and build feature to enable it

● Problem: Users frequently make low-value purchases on Swiggy Instamart.


● Goal: Analyze competition, market, shopping behavior and recommend features that can
increase the average order value per transaction.
