General Instructions for Applicants
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the EMBA program at IIT Madras. As you are preparing to submit
your application, we wish to highlight the following aspects of the application process.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN EACH SECTION WHILE FILLING YOUR APPLICATION.
1. Application process
Application should be submitted online.
Copies of certificates to be uploaded at the time of filling the application (in PDF < 1MB each):
Passport size photo (in JPEG)
Signature photo (in JPEG)
10th Marksheet
12th Marksheet
Bachelor's Degree Certificate and Marksheets
Experience Letters
Category Certificate (if applicable)
Sponsorship Letter (if applicable)
CV with details of work experience only (not exceeding 3 pages)
2. Eligibility & Admission Procedure
WHO CAN APPLY
First class or 60% and above in Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (55% for SC/ST/PwD)
Minimum 3 years of work experience as on 31st Dec 2024.
3. Application deadline
The deadline for submitting the application online is October 20th, 2024, 11.59pm. It is your
responsibility to ensure that the application and the fee is submitted on or before the deadline. An
application which is complete in all respects and for which the application fee has been received would
be considered for the selection process.
4. Application fee
The application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1500.00
5. Correctness of information provided
The applicant will bear the full responsibility for the correctness and accuracy of the
information furnished in the application. Applicants are therefore strongly advised to verify the
information provided by them before submitting the application. No changes are possible after the
application has been submitted. Misrepresentation or providing wrong information, knowingly or
otherwise, will result in the application being summarily rejected at any stage of the selection process
and beyond.
