5. Do you enjoy music videos?
-Yes, I have . Although I usually listen to music on the SPF app rather
than music videos. Because when I litsten to music is not just sitting in
one place, I will combine it with many things like: studying, doing
housework or learning to play an instrument.
6. Do you like singing karaoke? How often do you sing karaoke?
-Yes, I love to sing karaoke but I don't usually sing karaoke, I just sing
without a beat like singing softly with melodies suddenly popping up in
my head because singing karaoke can make noise for other people.
- And I have a bad memory with karaoke. You know, then I studied for
the college exam and there were only 2-3 days left before I took the
college entrance exam. It's very important. But my neighbors, they sing
karaoke every free time at high volume which makes me feel very bad
and one thing that makes me feel terrible is that they sing at high volume
I’m still feel alright but they sing very badly
7. Do you listen to music while doing your homework?
-Yes, I do. I do it regularly. Because music help me enviromant and it
also help me focus more on studying.
-Depending on the purpose, I will listen to different kind of music like
+when I want to something vibrant, dynamic to do housework, exercise i
will chose EDM, Pop music or Rap
+ And when I want to concentrate I often choose instruction music like
music of Mozart, Bethoven, or BGM of Ghibli-music in animation . It’s
really wonderful!
8. Do you think your favorite music twenty years from now will be the
same as it is today?
-I think it will be different as maybe I'll prefer Ambient music twenty
years later.
-I think each generation has different loves of the genre of music. Like
my mom and dad like Bolero but I don't and vice versa I like pop music
and they don't like it.
-Do you know Bolero? Bolero Vietnam is a music originating from
Spain, imported to Latin America and then introduced to Vietnam in the
early 1950s. Bolero is really popular with people at 40 years old and
above in my country
9.Do you watch music shows on TV? If so, what do you watch?
-Yes, sometimes I watch music shows on TV
-Like the got talent in the U.S, South Korea's Produce 101, or The
Masked Singer.
-When watching this show, I can listen to more songs with perfect
melodies and lyrics
10. Have you ever been to a concert?
-No, I havent . I've never been to a concert. Because, you know, I live in
the countryside and concerts aren't held there.
-The city near where I live has concerts but I can't go because concerts
are usually held late in the evening, so if I go to concerts, I have to sleep
in the city without being able to go home.
11. Have you ever taken part in a singing competition?
-No, I don't. When I was in high shool , there were many singing
competitions, I really wanted to participate but I was shy and scared to
stand in front of a crowd.
-But when I went to college, I was confident, and I could sing without
shyness, or fear.
12. How does music make you feel?
- relax, concerntrate, happy, sometimes make me feel upset with its
lyrics, melody….
-Our favorite melody releases dopamine, known as the feel-good
hormone, which activates the brain's pleasure and reward systems.
Music can have a positive, immediate effect on our mental state; Fast-
paced can stimulate our psyche and physiology, helping to energize us
during the day. Slower, meditative melodies can help us relax and
reduce stress levels.
13. How many CD's do you have?
-Around the 2000s, the internet wasn't as strong as it is now, and people
wanted to listen to music, they had to buy CDs.
-I used to have a lot of CDs.
-At that time, every morning, I was given money by my mother to have
a breakfas. But I did not use this money to eat, I saved to buy CDs
14. How much time do you spend listening to music?
-I spend about 2-3 hours listening to music
-I think it is not so much. Because I often listening to music while I’m
studying or doing other things
15. Is live music popular in your country?
-I think live music is quite popular in VietNam
-don't say far. In my hometown, people like live music.
- everynight sartuday, in coffee shop have live music, it have a band and
the guests if wanna singing, they will register song with MC and
singing. Like sing to each other. This is called live music in hometown
or in my country
16. What are some special or traditional musical instruments in your
country?
-Monochord, rock band,
17. What do you think the world would be like without music?
-The world would be a very quiet place. Our life without melodies and
harmonies would be totally empty. Listening to and playing different
tunes help us to remove stress, relax, and it can also help motivate us in
trying times.
18. What do you think of manufactured bands? Can you name any?
-I find that in Korean, The band is developed very strongly and music is
the industry, it brings huge profits
-I know some bands well-known in the world like BTS, ABBA, EXO,
T-ARA, BLACKPINK….
19. What is one of your favorite songs?

20. Which do you prefer, songs in English or songs in your own
language?
- I like music in my mother tongue and in English equally
-But to say that, I like the English lyrics and like the melody of
Vietnamese songs
-With Enghish lyrics, I can improve my listening skills and learn more
vocabulary.
21. Who is your favorite singer?
-I have many favorite singer
+ Music of Vietnam, I really like Trúc Nhân, He has a strong voice and
great singing technique. His songs are very special and leave an
impression on the listener.
+Music of the world like Enghish or Japan, justin beiber, lady gaga, Fuji
Kaze….
22. Does music affect unborn children?
-What effect does music have on babies in the womb? It is proven
that music has a role in brain development before birth. Listening to
music during pregnancy will not only have a soothing and uplifting
effect on the pregnant woman, but also a positive influence on the
unborn baby.
23. Do you think that people from different cultures react to music in
different ways?
Despite culture, people around the globe react the same way.
People react the same way to the same piece of music, no matter what
their cultural background, according to research by Canadian scientists
24. Why do you think music is important and how does it affect
different people?
-Music can raise someone's mood, get them excited, or make them calm
and relaxed.
- Music allows us to feel nearly or possibly all emotions that we
experience in our lives. The possibilities are endless.
25. Do you think that music can help make world peace? How?
-Yes music can help make world peace
-Music brings people together and makes them feel greater than the sum
of their parts. Music can empower and inspire people to work together to
accomplish goals and achieve visions unimagined by individuals acting
alone. Music can be used in a number of ways to prevent conflict and
promote peace.
