Internet Setup: Go to Wireless Sync Site
1. Go to www.wirelesssync.vzw.com. 2. For returning users log on with your Wireless Sync account Mobile Number and Password (A). OR New customers click the Sign Up Now! button to create a password for your mobile number and complete the setup (B).

Read the information on the 3 Easy Steps page and click Set Up Wireless Sync Now to continue.

From the Quick Start Guides page, download and print the guide for your device (A) and, if needed, the installation guide for the PC Monitor software (B).

5. If you logged in using your verizonwireless.com account in Step 2, you will configure your email and indicate what type of mobile device you have. Go to the Identify Your Email Source topic and continue. OR If you clicked Sign Up Now! in Step 2, you will be redirected to a sequence of pages where you can create a permanent password, as described in the Set Up a Wireless Sync Account topic.
Set Up a Wireless Sync Account
1. On the Quick Start Guides page, click Next. 2. On page 1a., Wireless Sync Account Setup, enter your Mobile Number and click Send.
A temporary password will be sent to your mobile device. 3. Enter that password in the Temporary Password field.
4. Enter your New Password, which must be 512 characters in length, then enter it again in the Re-enter New Password box. 5. Click Next to continue.

6. On page 1b., Terms and Conditions, read the terms and conditions. If you agree to the Terms and Conditions, click Agree. If you do not agree, you will not be able to continue.
7. On page 1c., Account Information, select a Time Zone and check the Ive Verified that the above time zone is correct box. Complete all remaining required fields. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*). Click Next.
Identify Your Email Source.
1. To Identify Your Email Source, select the option that applies best to you. Click Next. 2. Follow the instructions for Corporate Email or Internet/POP3/IMAP Email, or Both. Then, follow the directions in the Select Your Device area.
Corporate Email
If you choose Corporate Email as your email source, the Corporate Email Source Setup page displays. 1. Choose Install the PC Monitor software on this PC now to install the software on the PC where you are currently logged in. (If you wish to install later, go to the next page.) 2. Click Next to review the PC Monitor System Requirements. 3. Review the Quick Start Guide for your corporate email platform before you proceed with the PC Monitor installation.
4. Click Next to continue and go to the Select Your Device topic. The PC Monitor software will be installed on your PC at the end of the setup process. 4a. Click Next to continue and go to Install Software. 4b. Click Run on the pop up box. 4c. Follow the steps in the install wizard. 4d. While installing, you will be asked to select Individual Monitor or Workgroup Monitor. Select Workgroup if you have multiple users.
NOTE: The PC Monitor software can be installed at a later time by logging in and navigating to the Install Software page.
Corporate Email (Cont.)
If you do not want to download the PC Monitor software at this time: 1. Choose Do not install the PC Monitor software on this PC now. 2. Click Next and go to the Select Your Device topic.
Internet/POP3/IMAP Email
If you choose Internet/POP3/IMAP Email as your email source, the Internet Email Source Setup page displays. 1. Choose Use Outlook to Retrieve My Email. 2. Click Next and go to the Select Your Device topic. Note: The PC Monitor software for Microsoft Office Outlook will be automatically installed on your PC at the end of the setup process. OR 1. Choose Retrieve My Email for Me if you would like to have the Wireless Sync server collect email from your POP3 or IMAP server. Click Next. 2. In the Internet Mail Setup page, the Email Address field is automatically populated. Enter your Password after your email address. Click Next.

NOTE: The Wireless Sync server will attempt to automatically configure your account settings. If it cannot, you must manually configure the Internet Mail Connection Settings in the Advanced Setup Options. Contact your system administrator or your Internet Service Provider for help with these settings. When you finish entering the required settings, click Test Settings. If more information is needed, or something is incorrect, a message displays. Once all settings are correct, you will see the following:
Click Next and go to the Select Your Device topic. Select Your Device. After you have identified your email source and configured your email, you will be prompted to select your device. 1. Click the radio button corresponding to your device. 2. If desired, check the Trip and Appointment Plus Extensions for Microsoft Outlook box. 3. Click Next and go to the Install Wireless Sync Software topic. OR Click Dont Install Now to exit now.
Setting up Software Wirelessly on Device
1. From the Home Screen, select the Wireless Sync icon. 2. Select Start. 3. Wait while the newest version of Wireless Sync is downloaded and installed. 4. Once the device restarts, select Next. NOTE: If your company has its own Wireless Sync server, check the box; you will need the server address for that server. 5. Select Yes. 6. Enter the Phone Number and Password created on the Web site. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions and select Next. 7. You need to create a random key on your first sync session. Scribble on the screen until the dialog disappears. 8. Verify that the Home time zone and address is correct, and select OK.

Enter the Email Address and Email Password and select Next. Wait while Wireless Sync automatically configures the email settings.
10. Select OK. 11. On the first sync, choose either Refresh or Merge, as appropriate. NOTE: Refresh will delete all the contacts, calendar, and other data that will be synced from the Web site and replace it with what is on the Wireless Sync Web site (suggested). Merge will combine the data on your device and the Web site. This may cause duplicates. 12. Wireless Sync setup is now complete and you should begin receiving new email within 15 minutes.
