Admission Requirements:
Certificate courses
Applicants must possess minimum of grade D (plain) in KCSE or its equivalent. Upon successful
completion of the Certificate programme, a student can continue up to the Lukenya University
Diploma programmes.

Diploma Courses
The minimum requirement for entry into Lukenya diploma programme is a C- (minus) in KCSE
or a principal pass in A levels, or a recognized certificate or 4 credits in GCE, or their equivalent
qualifications.

Undergraduate Programmes
To join Lukenya’s Bachelors programme a candidate needs a C+ (plus) and above in KCSE or 5
credits B in IGCSE; or 2 principal passes in ‘A’ level.

Boarding Requirements
The university has accommodation for all students. Students will be provided with a Bed and
Mattress. However they will be required to carry a blanket and bed sheets, towel, basin or bucket,
mosquito net, pillow and personal effects.

Stationery
Students will be required to carry at least five Counter books, pens and Files

Other Requirements

 All students taking Education Science are required to come with a calculator and a
White Lab Coat

 Geography students are required to come with a Cartographic Kit
