SUBJECT: Progress of infographics
This progress report outlines the completed tasks so far for my Alzheimer’s and clarification on
whether it is a disease or disorder Infographic project. I have been able to stay on schedule so far
and continue to make progress on the project.
Background: Alzheimer's is known as a disease among the people. However, the studies show
that it is characterized as a neurodegenerative disorder. This report aims to provide data that
clarify the existing confusion regarding Alzheimer's as a disease or disorder. I will also provide
the data which distinguishes diseases and disorders. Primary data will be collected on the
knowledge people have about Alzheimer's and whether it is a disease or disorder.
Work Completed: I have made a work plan for myself and have kept myself on schedule. I have
completed the following tasks:
Researched the current relevance of Alzheimer’s disorder.
Researched the history of Alzheimer’s and its characteristics.
Researched the neurological aspects of Alzheimer's disorder.
While I was doing my research, I found out that in Canada 1 in 20 are affected with Alzheimer’s
disorder that too among people aged over 65 (CBC, 2009, para. 4), and the number of affected
people will triple in the next 30 years in Canada ( CBC, 2022, para.1).

Work in Progress: In order to start the primary research process, I am entering my survey
questions into Survey Monkey and waiting for the answers. I can start working on my primary
research analysis assignment as soon as I have the results. I am also working on my Informal
Research report by finding relevant studies. I'm still working on my infographic, adding the most
important information as I come across them. I'm going to keep researching, writing, and editing
my infographic and informal report.
Work to be Completed: Within the next week, I will be able to begin to work more on creating
the Infographic that goes along with my Informal Report. I will complete my Primary Research
Analysis Assignment and connect those results to my Informal Report and Infographic.
Anticipated Problems: It could be necessary for me to keep looking for appropriate sources
to make sure that my Informal Report is well-supported and has the most recent and correct data.
I have to make sure that all of the assignments and tasks are finished by the due dates. If
something goes wrong with my project and takes longer than expected, I will let the professor
know right away. In order to avoid losing my work in the unlikely event that something goes
wrong with my computer, I also regularly back up my work. My work schedule will need to be
somewhat adjusted if I become sick in order to finish things on time.
Positive progress continues to be made, and I am confident that every aspect of the project will
be finished on schedule.
You will receive my Informal Report by March 25th and my Infographic by April 8th. I am on
schedule and anticipate that they will be delivered on time. They will further discuss my topic
and provide more information.
