GUIDELINES FOR MINOR and major PROJECT REPORT
All the students of ECE (VII th and VIII th sem.) are required to prepare their Major and Minor
Project report by follow these guidelines:-
1. Minor Project Report must be Blue hard bounded file(7th sem) and (8th sem)Black Colored Hard Bounded
cover page with golden embossing.
2. One copy of the report (Simple A4 size paper, Black Colored Hard Bounded cover page with golden
embossing) should be submitted to the college and second copy (Spiral Binding) to the respective project
guide/co-ordinator. Every student must have his or her own additional copy.
3. Report must be written in English language.
4. Abstract should be not more than One Page.
5. Sequence of pages to be followed as:
i) Title /Front Page (Colored)
ii) College Certificate
iii) Acknowledgement (to be signed by all the students of group)
iv) Abstract
v) Table of contents
vi) List of components
vii) List of equipments
viii) List of softwares
ix) List of figures
x) List of symbols
xi) List of Tables
xii) Chapters and their arrangement
xiii) Results (must be shown in chapter)
xiv) Application of project
xv) Future development of project
xvi) Conclusion/ discussion
xvii) Appendices
xviii) References
xix) Cost of Project
6. Note: - Report should be of 60-70 pages.
1. Paper Size : A- 4 size paper
2. Margins : Top : 1 (1 inch=2.54cm)
Bottom : 1.15 (2.86cm)
Left : 1.5
Right : 0.8”
3. Line Spacing: 1.5 lines
4. Title of Chapter:
Font : Times New Roman (CAPS & BOLD)
Size : 16 point
Alignment : Right Alignment
One thick line (2¼ point weight) after the name of chapter.
5. Headings:
First Order Heading : (for example 1. INTRODUCTION)
Font : Times New Roman (CAPS & BOLD)
Size : 14 point
One blank line before the heading. (10 points)
Second Order Heading: (for example 1.1 Evolution)
