Proposal for preparing booklet
1. Title- Investigation of New Age Crimes
2. Overview of the booklet - The booklet would comprise of four chapters of 15-
20 pages each on newer technology facilitated crimes and their investigation.
These chapters are:-
(a) Artificial Intelligence and machine learning
(b) Deepfake
(c) Cryptocurrency
(d) OCSAE
3. Officers entrusted for development of chapters- The above-mentioned
chapters would be developed by under-mentioned officers as detailed below:-
a) Akansha Gupta, DSP - Deepfake
b) Swaraj Bharti, Asstt Prog - Cryptocurrency
c) Virendra Kumar, Inspector - OCSAE
d) Shahnawaz Abdullah, Inspector - Artificial Intelligence and machine learning
4. Chapters outline- The chapters would necessarily comprise of under-
mentioned subtopics. Few more sub-topics may be added by the developers at
the time of development.

3. Review by DIG(T) and other senior officers of CBI- 15th June’ 24
4. Foreword, Approval be Competent Authority, Printing -30 th June’ 24
6. Other Modalities
1. Input may be taken from CCID, SC-III, NETRA and other concerned branches.
2. Co-ordination with the publisher, expenditure and printing would be handled
by Sh. Tejveer Singh, PI, CBI Academy.
