Prayer Walk Scripture References for our School
For God to command His angels to guard you (our school/teachers/admin/students) in all their ways,
(Psalm 91:11). That God would send an angel(s) ahead of you (our school community) to guard (them/us)
in all your ways (Exodus 23:20).
That God is a strong tower against the enemy (Psalm 61:3), and the righteous will run to it and be safe
(Proverbs 18:10). That we make the Most High our dwelling, and then no harm will come and no
disaster will come near. (Psalm 91:9-10) and that God's enemies will be scattered and must flee. (Psalm
68:1). That God will 'protect from the evil one' (John 17:15).
For safety and protection against the enemy, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but the rulers
of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil. Pray the school community will be able to stand firm
(Eph 6).
Scriptures for our Teachers, Administration and all Employees
Pray students will honor and respect their teachers/coaches/office admin/staff (TCOS). (l Peter 2:13-14) That
each TCOS will know and believe they are loved and cherished by God who created them (Psalm 139:13-14)
and that they are continually encouraged in and by the Spirit of God (Eph 3:18-19)(1 Samuel 30:6) and by each
other (1 Thess 5:11).
Pray our school will have Godly teachers, coaches, staff and employees.
That all teaching is based on the Truth of God (1Timothy 3-4) that any teaching which is not founded on the
Truth of God, would fall on deaf ears. That each teacher would boldly and clearly speak Truth (Col 4:4) and
that each conversation would be full of grace (Col 4:6). That each answer would be gentle and not harsh
(Prov 15:1).
Pray that TCOS would see every child as the Lord sees him/her, as a person created and valued by God (Psm
139). Help each teacher be clothed with 'compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. To bear
with each other and forgive and above all to create in each heart a brotherly love for all they come into contact
with each day. (Col 3:12-14) ·
That each TCOS would strive to work in a way that delights the Lord, so that his/her steps will be made
firm. (Psm 37:23), that he/she would use Godly wisdom arid that God has a plan for them (Jeremiah 29:11).
Pray that whatever they do, they work as if working for the Lord. (Col 3:17 and 23)
Pray for each marriage and family of each school employee, that the Lord protects against anything that could
tear those relationships apart. Keep each TCOS 'self controlled and alert' (1 Peter 5:8).
Scriptures for each Campus Club or Sport
Pray each organization/sport would seek to glorify God in its purpose. That Truth is presented and is absolute.
That each student is respected, is seen as Christ sees him/her, and is treated with fairness during these activities.
That each teacher/coach will have compassion for each student and strive to develop the individual to their best,
despite talent or likes/dislikes.
Let your school be a light to the community, a city on a hill (Matt 5:14) to all who visit or participate in
school events.

Pray for upperclassmen to be worthy school leaders. Pray for them to be 'self controlled and alert' (1 Peter
5:8) to dangers around them and to the needs of others. Clothe them with 'compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness and patience. To bear with each other and forgive and above all to create in each heart a
brotherly love for all they come into contact with each day. (Col 3:12-14) Help them to love 'with actions and
in truth.' (lJohn 3:18)
Pray against obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place (Eph 5:4).
Pray that they do not let any unwholesome talk come from their mouths, but only what is helpful for
building others up according to their needs. (Eph 4:29)
Pray they will be speaking the Truth in love. (Eph 4:15)
Pray they can withstand peer pressure and are not led astray (l John 3:7)
Pray against sexual sin. Help the students to see their bodies as 'living sacrifices' (Romans 12:1) and to 'honor
God with their body.' (1 Cor 6:20) Pray the students dress with modesty (1 Timothy 2:9).
Pray that our students will be drug-free and alcohol-free. Pray against dangerous and unwise choices. Give
students the thought to pray for wisdom (James 1:5) to know how to fight these temptations. Help them to
submit to God (James 4:7).
Pray that students coming from difficult home situations are shown love, mercy and compassion by other
students, administrators and teachers. That their needs are met, and students look toward the needs of others
(Phil 2:4)
Pray that each student has a friend and that God will watch over that friendship. Let no student feel alone or
lonely.
Pray that that whatever they do, they work as if working for the Lord. (Col 3:17 and 23) and that they live
as ‘children of light’ (Eph 5:8).
Scriptures for each Christian Campus Ministry
Pray each ministry mission is based on the Truth of God (1Timothy 3-4) that any teaching which is not founded
on the Truth of God, would fall on deaf ears. That each teacher representative would boldly and clearly speak
Truth (Col 4:4) and provide an opportunity to minister to each student's needs.

Pray for each involved student/teacher to know they are Christ's ambassador as though God were making His
appeal through them. (2 Cor 5:20)
Pray that those whose hearts are being prepared to hear Truth would feel welcome into that organization, and
that hearts and lives would be changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
