Program 1
Write the paragraph and do following
➢ Divide all paragraph for the text and justify alignment. Change font style on heading.
➢ Makes Drop Cap the first letter of the second paragraph
➢ Make “1.5” line spacing for third paragraph
➢ Change font size on 17 points for the last paragraph
➢ Apply numbers for the last two sentence for 4th paragraph
➢ Set up the page layout on landscape orientation and set up “1.50” and right “1.05”
Aim
To type the paragraph in MS-Word
Procedure:
1. Start ->All Programs ->MS Office Word-> Ok
2. Type the paragraph after to justify the alignment using Home Menu or using Short
Cut Key Ctrl+J.
3. To change the font style using Home -> Font Style
4. Insert->Drop Cap
5. To adjust between each line using line spacing option by Home->Line Spacing
6. Select the paragraph, to change the font size using Home->Font Size
7. Select the sentence, then apply the Bullets and numbering by using Home-> Bullets
and Numbering.
8. To change the page setup using page layout-> Orientation->Landscape
9. Save and close the document.
Result

Program 2
Create a Time Table
Aim
To create a Time Table using MS-Word.
Procedure
1. Start ->All Programs->MS Office -> MS Word->Ok
2. Insert the Table using Insert-> Table.
3. To fill the data in Table.
4. Select the Column, then click layout-> Merge cells, Type the Text, then select
the text, Click Layout-> Text Direction.
5. Select the table click design-> select anyone design
6. Save and close the document
Result
Thus, the Time Table was successfully created and executed.
Program 3
Design Letter Pad and Logo by using Word Art and Print it.
Aim
To design a Letter Pad and Logo by using Word Art.
Procedure:
1. Start -> All Programs -> MS Office ->MS Word ->Ok
2. Insert -> Word Art -> Type the Word ->Click Ok
3. To change the word style, click format -> change shape, shape fill, shape
outline.
4. Insert -> picture (Logo), then design the page
5. Save and close the document.

News Paper Design
Aim
To create a newspaper using word
Procedures:
1. Start -> All Programs -> MS Office -> MS Word -> Ok
2. Insert -> Header and Footer. Then type the name in Header Box
3. Then click page number in footer box
4. Then Insert -> Picture or Clip Art
5. Then type the sentence in page. Then select any one letter Click Insert -> Drop Cap
6. Select the page and click page layout columns
7. Click page layout -> Watermark
8. Click page layout -> Page Color
9. Click page layout -> Page Border
10. Save and close the program

Program 5
Change the to Address to using Mail Merge
Aim
Prepare a cover letter for applying to a job and using Mail Merge to generate various
letter for various organization.
Procedures:
1. Start -> All Programs -> MS Office -> MS Word -> Ok
2. Type a letter format without to address then save the letter
3. Mailings -> Start Mail Merge -> Step by Step Mail Merge Wizard
4. Click (i) Next : Starting Document
(ii) Next : Select Recipients
(iii) Click Type a New list button -> Create -> Customize columns [ first
name, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City ] Type the field create another entry click
new entry button.
5. Then save the Address list
6. Click Next : Arrange your Directory
7. Click Next : Write your letter
8. Click more items. Insert Merge field dialog box will appears.
9. Insert the fields, first name, address line 1, address line 2, city.
10. Click Next : Preview your directory
11. Click Next : Complete the Merge
12. Click Edit individual letter
13. Save and close the document

Resume Creation
Aim
To create a Resume for placement in MS Word.
Procedures
1. Start -> All Programs -> MS Office -> MS Word -> Ok
2. Type the resume
3. Change the font style, size, color, bold, underline, center, using Home Menu.
4. Insert table using insert -> Table ->Insert Table. Click the number of rows and
columns.
5. Then fill the details in table.
6. Select the page border using page layout -> page borders.
7. Save and close the document
