The Sea Venture was an extremely famous wreck so much so a scene of it's wreck is
included in the coat of arms of Bermuda.

"Faced with high seas and hurricane-force winds, the Sea Venture became separated
from the rest of the fleet just as the ship started taking on water."

The wreck was discovered in 1958 and was contested but was eventually confirmed

Due to an arbitrary performance record of November 1, 1611 and a Stratfordian strain

life, this play's composition has been dated at 1611. They wave forth William
Strachey's account of the wreck of the Sea-Venture in 1609 off the coast of Bermuda
and connect it to Ariel's reference to the "still-vex'd Bermoothes"

in to occupy the ship and sail the remaining journey side by side. But a wicked storm
quickly separated the two ships, and when they were reunited the next day, there
wasn't a trace of the crew in sight"

"On 15 February, 309 souls departed for Bahia, Brazil, the only scheduled stop before
Baltimore, Maryland. Two days later, at 1800 on 22 February, the ship embarked for
Maryland; she was expected to arrive on 13 March. The last known location of the
Cyclops was an unplanned stop made at Barbados on 3 March, with 1,800 nautical miles
(nm) to go on a 4,844 nm journey.

After the unscheduled stop at Barbados, the passengers and crew were never seen
again. The cause is still a mystery. Even after more than 100 years, the fate of
these souls remains unknown."

"Speculation swirled. Could the heavy ore have ruptured the hull, sinking the ship
instantly? Did the unfamiliar cargo leak fumes that poisoned the crew? U-boat
torpedoes could have sunk the ship, but where was the debris? Rough seas could have
swamped it, but there was no storm, and no distress call."

Almost a year to the day after the disappearance of the Star Tiger, another Avro
Tudor IV belonging to BSAA vanished between Bermuda and Jamaica.

Exactly one hour after departure from Bermuda on 17 January 1949, the pilot of the
Star Ariel sent a routine communication of his position. But then the plane vanished
without trace at 18,000 feet.

According to experts, this would have required a sudden catastrophe.

Again, no wreckage, debris or bodies were ever found.

"This area is by no means isolated. The coasts of Florida and the

Carolinas are well populated, as well as the islands involved. Sea
distances are relatively short.Day and night, there is traffic over
the sea and air lanes. The waters are well patrolled by the Coast
Guard, the Navy and the Air Force. And yet this relatively limited
area is the scene of disappearances that total far beyond the laws
of chance."

Another common explanation for the Bermuda Triangle rests on magnetism. The Earth’s
magnetic North Pole isn’t the same as its geographic North Pole, which means that
compasses usually don’t point exactly north. Only along what’s known as agonic lines,
which line up magnetic and geographic north, are compasses truly accurate.

Extra source about how underwater methane stores can create craters

"The Arctic sea floor was once like a pressure cooker, with methane gas building,
building, building beneath an ice sheet for thousands of years. But when the ice
eventually melted, the lid suddenly burst off, unleashing enormous amounts of methane
and forming deep craters."

Another popular theory is that the missing vessels were felled by so-called “rogue
waves,” which are massive waves that can reach heights of up to 100 feet (30.5
metres) and would theoretically be powerful enough to destroy all evidence of a ship
or airplane.

US-related activities, which is a source of bias, but it remains suitable for our
usage as it covers the Bermuda region, as well as other oceanic regions around the
globe.

Exclusively including events categorized under "Involved in a Marine Casualty", We

mapped this casualty data using QGIS, and omitted some records with clear typos,
formatting errors, and missing data. Some anomalies may still exist.
We used open source Javascript programs (node.js, NPM's geojsplit) to convert this
data into an animatable vector. This process can slightly widen the margin of
geographical plotting error at the macro level, but serves its purpose for our
argument all the same.
