Abstract: Although "youth" can refer to any time in a person's life when they are young, it
is most usually used to refer to the time between childhood and maturity. There are many
diverse interpretations of what ages are considered to be among the young. Newness,
wrath, vitality, sport, and energy are all usually associated with the concept of youth. We
are still building our sense of self while we are young. A young person's concept of self is
frequently moulded by a variety of influences, including their peers, way of life, gender,
political system, and culture. It is the period of a person's life when they make decisions
that will affect not just their personal future but also the future of their country, either
directly or indirectly. If a country's young people are self-aware and capable of taking
responsibility for their actions, they have the power to affect major change in their country.
The youth of a country are its most significant asset and source of strength. Young people
who are given more power frequently prove to be the single most crucial component in
their countries' prosperity and development. Young people have the ability to make
important contributions in any field; as long as they are focused on doing their very best,
nothing will be able to stop them from succeeding. Any nation's or cultures potential
vitality can be discovered in its youth. They are a nation's pride as well as its powerhouse,
capable of storing a limitless amount of energy and generating an infinite amount of
energy. The study's goal is to draw attention to the critical role that young people in India
can play in bringing about positive change across the country.

1. INTRODUCTION
Any country's young people are the most important contributors to its development and
vitality. It is considered that developing countries with high youth populations can achieve
significant growth if they invest in their young people's education and health, as well as
safeguard and secure their rights. Young people will undoubtedly be the innovators, creators,
builders, and leaders of future. There is no denying it. They will, however, require the
essential support in the form of opportunities for skill development and improved health in

order to influence the path of the future. When there are more hands to work in a county than
there are mouths to feed, an economic trigger occurs. To put it another way, the population of
working age must outnumber the population of those who rely on government support. It's
vital to remember that young people account for around 60% of the population in this
country.
When a person is young, they have the drive and potential to work harder than they ever have
before, as well as the energy and potential to figure out how to get ahead of other people.
This is the point in life known as "youth." This presents us with a wonderful opportunity to
make good use of our young talent and propel us forward toward achievement; however, in
order to make the most of this possibility, we will need to ensure that the capabilities of our
younger members are appropriately channeled. If we are successful in channeling this
powerhouse of the nation in the direction that it should go, then the country will be able to
achieve heights that were previously unimaginable. It is of the utmost importance to
acknowledge the power of young people and to put their potential to good use. All that is
required of us is to channel the vitality of our younger generation into positive, forward-
thinking endeavours that will lead to development and progress. The annals of Indian history
are replete with examples of prominent young people who not only served as models of the
power that can be wielded by youth in a society but also served as a significant source of
motivation for many. Only if they have the information and skills necessary, India's youth
will be able to contribute to the country's prosperity and advancement. It is the government's
responsibility to provide adequate opportunity for them to improve their personal and
professional abilities, as well as equal access to games and sports facilities. It is also the
government's responsibility to ensure that they have adequate opportunities to compete
equally in sporting events.
Young individuals who lack the necessary skills and information may end up hurting the
economy and causing more problems for their country. As a result, it is now up to the
country's competent authorities to put in place measures to foster the nation's young people
and their aspirations. Despite this, our country's government is adopting a lot of new
programmers and extending the number of technical institutions, both of which are proving to
be beneficial to the entire country. As a result, India has made a considerable contribution to
global science and technology advancement, as well as the ascension of Indian scientists to
key positions inside NASA. Our young people are always prepared to make the most of an
opportunity and do their very best if they are given the chance to do so. The strategies should
be able to tap into the potential of the younger generation.
There is no doubt that our administration is implementing measures to enhance the youth's
general situation; nonetheless, there is still more work to be done. Both the employment and
education industries are in desperate need of some game-changing advances. India's young
people have a tremendous lot of potential. We can observe that there is a significant rate of
emigration when we look at the number of young Indian students and professionals who
leave the nation after completing their engineering and management degrees. The finest

students at Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Management chose to
pursue professions in other countries, where they can earn greater salaries, which come as a
surprise. On the other hand, these bright young people have made a considerable contribution
to the expansion of a number of sectors in those other countries. The only element
contributing to this brain drain is India's inability to provide suitable work prospects for these
folks. It is not difficult to find Indian software engineers in countries such as the United
States of America, Canada, and Singapore. To comprehend how much talent and potential the
younger professionals in India have.

3. DISCUSSION AND RESULT
The Future of India Relies on Its Young People.
People Young people make up over sixty percent of the total population of India. They hold
the power to alter the course of the nation. The youthful mind is going to be more creative
and original, which will support the progress of the country. However, young people should
be provided with sufficient opportunity to voice their opinions and propose solutions that will
assist in the development of the country. The one and only means to articulate those beliefs
and put those programmes into action in politics. Young people need to be encouraged to get
involved in politics and to aspire to hold high-level posts like the Prime Minister, Governor,
and Chief Minister. Experience is less important than knowledge and unity in this context.
For instance, a large-scale demonstration held by young people in Marina beach in support of
Jallikattu is a prominent example of the power that youth possesses. If India's future leaders
are allowed to be young people, the country will almost certainly be considered a developed
nation by the year 2020.
The next generation could end crooked leadership and administration.
They are able to undergo transformation. Education programmes should make it a priority to
instil in young minds, beginning with elementary school students, the significance of making
informed decisions regarding who should lead governing bodies. In the past, it has been
recommended that young people avoid getting involved in political activities. Motivating

young people to think about politics as a potential way to serve their country should be a
priority. They ought to be geared at anti-corruption campaigns with a primary concentration
on Preventing corruption by various means, including but not limited to education and
awareness campaigns and other preventative actions. When responsibility is delegated to
younger generations, the probability of effective governance rises. In this drive toward a
transparent civil society framework that may influence the political administration for the
betterment of the society, the significant role of a younger person who is more fresh with
ideas than ideals will be of assistance. This will help. This movement was created with the
intention of assisting. In the past, the Youth Arts and Sports Club, which was a well-known
location in the rural areas of Kerala, had a dual purpose in the community. On the one hand,
through increasing people's knowledge of many social and political issues, it promoted the
participation of young people in various social and political activities. On the other side, it
provided the people with the ability to advocate for their rights and helped them in a variety
of different ways. In spite of the fact that these youth initiatives were effective systems to
encourage youth towards politics and disseminate information at the grassroots level, over the
years, this has decreased due to the relatively unimportant nature of such youth initiatives in
the eyes of the political and state machinery, which has resulted in a lack of support for the
promotion of such youth initiatives. Despite the fact that these projects were efficient
processing systems, this has still taken place. The only way for democracy to operate in an
appropriate manner is if there is a robust system of representation, and the only way for a
country to maintain its vibrancy and dynamism is if its youth is appropriately represented in
that system. It is therefore extremely essential to acknowledge the role that civil societies
play in enabling young people to participate to the consolidation of the democratic system
that the country presently possesses. The solution is to make more effective use of the tools
that are already available in order to successfully spread the belief among young people on
their participation and representation in democracy through activities carried out by civil
society.
Young people are excellent at finding solutions to problems.
They are necessary for the majority of the difficulties that our nations face. The younger
generation has the potential to provide solutions to the many challenges that are being faced
by the nation. They merely need to be provided with the opportunity to demonstrate their
worth. The younger generations of each of the six different ethnic groups have the potential
to come together. The problem of racism is one that persists in many parts of the world.
Because of the colour of their skin and the texture of their hair, people are picking fights with
one another. Religion is another topic; young people have the power to persuade their elders
to live in love and harmony. We are all a part of the same whole, and we must not let our
seemingly insignificant differences cause us to drift apart from one another. Additionally,
there is a significant amount of criminal activity. Husbands who beat their wives to death are
a leading cause of death for their wives. People's houses and places of business are being
broken into. It is imperative that all of this violence and criminal activity come to an end. The
younger generation possesses, more than ever before, the potential to affect positive change
in their nation. It would appear that young people are capable of meeting any obstacles and

overcoming any difficulties. They are an upbeat and encouraging example to the other young
people in their group.
They are in a position to instil in them a positive outlook on life. Those who are most likely
to screw up their lives in the future are the ones who listen to their peers. They will help kids
recognise the significance of obtaining a solid education. The experience and insight of the
young adults currently living in this world ought to be taken into account. Although they have
degrees, some of them are jobless. They need to be provided with the opportunity to show the
world their brilliance and transform themselves into somebody. The teenagers need assistance
from many organisations and other businesses so that they may make our nation a great one
that values education. They are going to have a significant impact on culture and on the world
as a whole. The youths are the lifeblood and future of our nation. They are going to make our
nation proud. There will be recognition of the nation. The young people merely need the
support of their fellow citizens, and they will carry out their responsibilities.
What Role Can Young People Play in Driving Change in India?
The teaching of adults and younger people about the power of youth, their capacity, and their
wisdom, with the goal of contributing to the facilitation of a generation capable of action and
transformation. The youth are disseminating the message of change and progress through the
use of media such as movies, documentaries, apps, websites, and newspapers that they have
created themselves. Activities associated with leadership include taking charge, managing,
and directing either oneself or others. The youth of today are not interested in leading in a
manner that is named after them; rather, they are investigating, learning, and examining as
much as they can about the world around them. The taking of concrete and immediate actions
is proving to be beneficial to the community. The ability to think critically has revolutionised
institutions like schools and corporations. In older times, what was handed down from one
generation to the next was often accepted without being subjected to much critical thought.
On the other hand, today's young people tackle the same problems in a different way. They
are stepping up, questioning those beliefs, and working to reform them, which is contributing
to a transformation in the society that is quite welcome. Students now gain a more
comprehensive understanding of a topic through participation in real-world projects and
experiments rather than reading from textbooks and listening to lectures, as a result of the
profound shifts that have taken place in the educational system. Many superstitious beliefs
and practises are being eradicated along with the social problems that are currently being
addressed.
People are gaining a deeper understanding of their problems as a result of television serials
and real-time programming, which is paving the path for constructive solutions. The
introduction of new forms of technology has brought about significant shifts in social norms
and values. Today's leaders have a higher level of education, which has led to improvements
in people's living conditions. The gap that exists between people of different castes, creeds,
and financial levels is quickly closing. It is currently common practise for persons of varying
social classes or economic backgrounds to mix with relatively little friction. The literacy rate

in India's rural areas is increasing, and the villages now have greater amenities. The
establishment of schools in rural areas has resulted in a change away from traditionally
employed methods and toward more contemporary ones in the job market. People from every
caste and socioeconomic background are coming together to enjoy the holidays in a big way.
People from all around the world get together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of
fanfare and opulence every year. Across a wide range of industries, new strategies and plans
are currently being put into action, and it is possible to observe development. As a result of
this, living standards have significantly increased.
4. CONCLUSION
In a country like India, which has a population that is around 60 percent constituted of young
people, the engagement of young people in the development process of the country is of the
utmost relevance. This is one of the most important reasons why. The youth of a nation is the
primary force that acts as the motor that drives that nation forward. The concept behind this is
that young people have so much potential that if they use it in constructive work, they can
lead our India in a path of continuous improvement. On the other hand, if they use it in
destructive activity, they may damage not only their own life but also the life of others. This
is the central idea behind this concept. The youth are held to the expectation that they will
develop both mentally and academically in order to achieve the level of competence
necessary to play a significant part in the development of the nation. This expectation is held
in place so that the youth can fulfil their potential to play a significant role in the
development of the nation. Not only will the devotion, hard work, inventiveness, and desire
for knowledge of today's youth assist them in living a life that is fulfilling, but it will also be
their contribution to the process of rising India to the rank of a worldwide superpower. As a
consequence of this, it is of the utmost importance to recognize the contribution that young
people have made to the success story of India, as well as to educate and motivate them to
strive toward the objective of establishing a more ideal nation. In order for the process of
nation-building to be successful, it is imperative that young people be involved. They are
exceptionally goal-oriented, creative thinkers, and problem-solvers who have a beneficial
influence not only on other young people but also on the nation as a whole. They have the
ability to build a distinctive identity for themselves while also moving the nation forward in
the process. On the other hand, they will not be able to achieve their goal unless their own
government and a group of other young people offer assistance and support. With the hopes
that the next generation of our beautiful land's inhabitants would cause it to flourish and
prosper.
