Abstract
This report describes my internship Code Expert Technology Pvt, Ltd is a leading company
that provides IT solutions for business needs to perform easily without any difficulties and they
always put 100% every time to fulfill requirements as specified by their customers withing
assigned speculated time period.
The scope of this document is to identify and describe the analysis carried out, projects
completed, experience gained and focuses on the achievement as a mechanical engineer Intern.
During my internship at new development tools, I was introduced to some new technologies,
languages and frameworks. But the most amazing experience was to work in a multicultural
work environment culture.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the results of my internship. I was able to use my software
development knowledge and apply it a real organization working in a real-life problem. I was
able to see some differences in functioning that resulted from my efforts. Due to the character of
the internship and the short time period spent at W3 Schools website, I took this experience as an
opportunity.

It is indeed a great pleasure and proud privilege for me to present this inplant training
report at “MPTA”one of the pioneered industries in manufacturing. This training
provides me with the first and the best opportunity to put my engineering knowledge to
practical use.

Production planning and control (PPC) is one of the most important
department in industry, because it is only department which is directly related
to remaining departments. Marketing is one of the working parts of PPC.
They have to plan the fully production process concerning with production
and industrial engineering departments.
5.1 Marketing
Working procedure of marketing is categorized into four groups which
are discussed below:
1.Year basis:
The assembly or subassembly is planned to complete that respective task in
one year and according to that it is processed.
2. Quarterly basis
The assembly or subassembly is planned to complete that respective task in
three months.

In this industry raw part comes for obtaining different manufacturing operations
on it. Outside or external finishing operation is carried out on simple lathe machine
using cylindrical turning operation. This Lathe Machine is manually operated. On
lathe machine when work part is rigidly held in chuck then it can be checked for
correct alignment between two centers.

6.7.2 CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) Machine
CNC machines are used in this industry for performing machining operations
like turning, boring, facing etc. CNC machine is nothing but a capstan or turret lathe
but operated with the help of computer programming. There are total two CNC
machines in this industry out of which two machines are of following series
‘FANUC Series Oi-Tc’ and other two machines are of following series:-‘FANUC
Series Oi mate - Tc ’These two machines possess similarity in their machining
operation although differ in series.

There are different CNC machine parts for these two CNC machines in this
industry which can be given as

These are some of the important components of CNC machine. Computer
Numerical Control in CNC machine is handled with help of computer programs.
Computer program executes with different coding regarding particular operation. For
this program there are different codes which are known as G- codes, M- codes etc.

Chapter No 4- Manufacturing processes along with production planning
and control methods.
4.1 Production Engineering Department
First detailed analysis of given component or assembly is done in the
production engineering department (PED). Hence, it is one of the most important
departments. There are several methods while analyzing the assembly. Actually it
depends upon customer requirement. Customer gives drawing of required component
and according to that drawing the further analysis is done or planned. Otherwise
sometimes customer gives directly required job and referring that reverse process is
done called as “Reverse Engineering.”
Most important thing in production engineering department is that, firstly it
necessary to check whether the taken component or assembly will suit our
infrastructure or not. If it is not possible then they analyze the situation whether it is
beneficial or not and then they contact to the management for next process.
The total cost estimation is formatted in production engineering department
and suitability with customer is rechecked and product is finalized.
4.2 Standard Room
In this room various instrument are taken for calibration. Measurements are
taken with standard precise instrument. The standard gauges such as ring, snap, dial
gauge along with vernier calliper and depth micrometer are calibrated.
In Sanmati Industry all measuring instruments are stamped by
one number which indicates the month and year of calibration. Once they are
calibrated, they further sealed by a new date. All the gauges have their registration.
4.3 Tool Room
The basic principle of tool room working is to design and manufacture the
Jigs and fixtures required to corresponding job. Tool room planer is just installed in
plant no. 2. The machine is purchased by Sanmati industry on the basis of
requirement. All tooling in the form of jigs and fixtures are manufactured in tool
rooms. These tooling’s are designed by PED. Tool room works under PED. Tool
room is facilitated by Swiss

This program can be looked as a strong motivator to achieve the final goal.
This shall aim at absolute perfection, which is very difficult task. But if such aim is
kept then the achievement is bound to be close to it.
In the machine shop there are different slogans on the walls to motivate the
workers and the whole organization. These are as given below. The quality policy of
the company is very interesting.
1) Quality is teamwork.
2) The race for quality has no finish line.
3) Our best earning is smiles of our customer face.
4) Do it right, first time every time.
Chapter No 6- Safety Procedures
In these 6 weeks of training, we used various software’s that helped us in developing and
executing the programs. Major software’s used during this course were, Sublime, XAMPP,VS
Code, Google Chrome web browser and also, we are introduced with new websites like color
picker, color gradient etc. Most of these software’s which helped us in efficient implementation
of it for training course.
First of all, in the first week of training, we learnt about the HTML & their tags, use of
that language is to structure of website. This was totally new to us hence we needed to know
about the HTML and then implement it for designing web pages. For this we used the VS Code
where we actually prepared our own web page and made the responsive pages.
After that in second week, we were introduced to CSS and their types. And we applied
the CSS to the html pages. In third week, we learned about bootstrap and boost watch website.
In fourth week, we introduced with XAMPP in that we used Javascript and PHP language.
Chapter No 7- Safety Procedures
Spark Lab IT Solutions uses Antivirus software like Quick heal which is a class of
program designed to prevent, detect and remove malware Infections on individual computing
devices, networks and Computer systems. Quick heal Antivirus software,originally designed to
detect and remove viruses from computers, can also protect against a wide variety of
threats, including other types of malicious software, suchas keyloggers, browser,
hijackers, Trojan horses, worms, rootkits, spyware, adware, botnets and ransom ware.
In Spark Lab IT Solutions, a firewall as a network security systemthat monitors
and controls incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predetermined security rules. A
firewall typically establishes a barrier between a trusted internal network and entrusted external
network, such as the Internet.
Chapter No 8-Particulars of Practical
Experiences
In the industrial training, we got the skills, which will, help us for our future life and
our professional career also.
➢ Soft Skills:
Communication, Presentation, etc.
In our training, we develop our communication and presentation skills, which are most
helpful for us. With the help of this skills we can able to represent our ideas in front of our
team and able to communicate properly with our head and team and its help also for project
discussion such as collecting requirements and expectation of users for their project
➢ Life Skills:
Time management, Safety, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Teambuilding, etc.
In the time of training we develop our skills like time management, team building. With
the help of this skills we are developing our project task in the given time, audit’s also helps us
for working in team, in this period we are able to complete our work in given time and
understand the opinions of our team members. Also we are able to keep our data safefrom
the hackers. It’s really a great achievement for us to working in the group, understanding the
ideas of each other and completing the work in the defined amount of time and keep our data
safe and secure from the stakeholders and hackers.
➢ Hands-On:
In the training we are not just studies the theoretical concepts, also learnt form it
practically by our own way, it helps us for developing our ideas and our mentality about
programming and developing, in this days we are able to remove the errors occurs in the
program and the problems occurred in the time of developing. Our practical knowledge is
increased in that days.
That helps us to increase our ideas in the quality and implementation areas, also weare
able to use the tools and familiar with them which are used in industries for developing.
In this training we also experienced the study of industry, its history and its software developing
methods using various programming languages, its turnover and how teamwork is carried out. In short,
we experienced the completely industrial environment.
Chapter No 10- Special /challenging experiences during training
Through interacting with others in a professional situation throughout my In-Plant training, I
experienced much more, and I turned out to be a better communicator and I also learned it in this
environment that how to work together and communicate with the superior and subordinate and lower-
level staff. I learned how I can take myself in a professional environment and also learned how I can
manage and perform the tasks and projects within the organization.
I increased my other skills during In-Plant training like Awareness, self- managing and problem
solving etc. and among which self-control makes me a more attractive and smoother candidate for
employment. Personal skill is necessary for over social and personal lives it’s not significant for work
place. To meet new people and apply network skills as make a network of line of work deal, respect teacher
and reference.
In-Plant training is also helpful to improve a student academic, career, and personal development
skills. Talents and professional skills also develop. I am now confident I want to follow this control after
graduation and continue my education in this field. In-Plant training gives the work experience that I can’t
get in the class In-Plant training is getting the experience way to build the confidence.
Conclusion:
MPTA INDUSTRIES is a well-established and reputed company in industrial field.
This company is having variety of machineries. It is equipped with highly advanced
machineries like CNC, VMC.etc I got good exposure to practical knowledge from my
vocational training which made me aware about nearly all manufacturing process,
industrial environment and working procedures.
