Feasibility Study on Solar LED Street lights

In University of Eastern Philippines Northern Samar

I. Marketing Analysis

A Step-by-Step 250-Word Essay Example

To help visualize this process, let’s go ahead and write a simple 250-
word essay. You’ll see our writing sample in green and our explanation of
what we did (and what can be done) with each section in normal text.

Without further ado, let’s get started on our essay!

Step 1 – Write market analysis

Your study is the first thing you should consider in your essay.
Simply put, it’s the main idea of your essay that will control everything
else you write. If you could summarize the question in just one sentence,
how would you do it?

Step 2 – Write Your Introduction

In the introduction, the first sentence can be a broad or general

statement that sets the tone for the piece. It is usually supported by a
second sentence that leads into the thesis. The optional third sentence
may pose a question that the thesis aims to answer, or it may prompt the
reader to think about the topic in a different light. The final sentence of
the intro paragraph clearly establishes the thesis.

As a general rule of thumb, the introduction should go from broad to

specific, sentence by sentence, gradually leading up to your thesis. Here’s
a sample example of an introductory paragraph.

the project bidding. Better design must be made to win the project
over other bidders. A good reputation with a lot of successful project
will greatly help too.
2. Weather – it will be a big factor to watch out for. Northern Samar is
known to be hit with strong typhoon and heavy rains weather can
now be predicted so leaning in to such knowledge will reduce
damage that it might make during its duration affect the whole
structure.
6

3. Natural and man-made incidents – Disaster and man-made accidents

is will be almost impossible to foresee. Proper preparations will be
needed to mitigate damages that such events might incur. Prevention
and safety is a first to avoid such events. These will directly impact the
lifespan and condition of the structure and will affect the project
severely.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

I. Economic Significance

Example:

Solar LED Street lights are less cost, no electric current required and easy to
maintain. This project will serve as the answer to the problems in lightings here in UEP it is
also an ecofriendly device that will trim down various gas emission which can endanger
earth it will also be the solution for the long-term problem of energy shortage because the
device does not consume much energy. It will give light to the street so we can prevent
accidents and it is also an economic wise because its way more cheaply than the traditional
lights we use before.

We know that street light is one of the major power consuming device, most of time
we see streetlights are on even after sunrise thus wasting lots of energy but because we use
the Solar LED Street lights it will not be a problem anymore instead of wasting energy
because it is open during day time it will just consumed the heat of the sun and turn it into
energy that will be use on night time.

Furthermore, we will prevent street accidents, save more money and we will save
our planet by this device. The Solar LED Street light gives brighter light than the usual light
we use and according to some research it has a long-life span than the traditional light we
use.

II. Standard and Specification

Example: citation of PEC standard specification of yours study.

The item and standard and specification shall consist of having solar streetlights and
other structures in reasonably close conformity with this specification and as shown on the
plans. Materials used for putting solar street lights under the various pay items shall
conform the requirements of the applicable items of this specification.
7

The Philippines Electrical Codes (PEC) is used nationally as

the basis for safeguarding persons, buildings and its content from
hazards that may arise from the use of electricity. This code
contains provisions which is necessary for safety and thus is used
as basis for the legal enforcement in the installation of electrical
system design in the country. It serves as our guide in the
assessment and inspection on the safeness and completeness of
electrical design application in the issuance of electrical wiring
permit.

III. COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS

Example:

To determine the difference between the benefit over the cost of this project is also
essential in this study. Installing the Solar Street Lights in the University of Eastern
Philippines campus (UEP) will inculcate cost but will surely generate more benefits.

The following are the over-all benefits derived from the Solar Street light system:

 Prevent an expected incident

 Give serenity in the designated area of the campus
 People will not worry about their security during night time

Conclusion

We concluded that after data has been gathered and analyzed; the

researchers had come to a conclusion that the Solar Led Street Lights of University
27

in Eastern Philippines is not of the reason why some area is dark. It means that the

Solar Led Street lights can accommodate the whole area in the campus.

Furthermore, with the interview concluded, the researchers can conclude that the

main reason why there is some incident within the dark areas of the school premises

is that of the lack of Street Lights in some area in the school campus that can cause

an incident.

Recommended

The researchers proposed the following solutions;

1. Improvement of the Street Lights. Some of the traditional Street lights are

totally damage.

2. By using this Solar device the energy usage from the main well reduces by

the use of alternative source of energy.

3. Renovating the Street Lights will provide some of the area in the school

premises will be lightened and helps the local students and other people while

be secured.
