MFA Authentication Method Setup Guide

To improve security when accessing CDK resources, we will be prompting occasionally for Multi Factor
Authentication (MFA) to add a second factor to the sign-in. To prepare for this requirement you should
ensure you have an Authentication Method already configured.

In these instructions we require that you use the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device as
your additional authentication method. This can be used on a company paid or personal device.

method option at the top of the list. Please note that you should remove any methods that are no
longer available, before adding additional methods. This can be done by clicking the Delete
button to the right of the sign-in method.

devices. Be aware that the device will need to be available whenever you might be prompted to
authenticate.

If you choose Authenticator app you will see instructions for using the Microsoft Authenticator,
