Chapter 3 Device description

3.1 The main characte

ristics
The dehumidification dryer described in this guide is a PLC controlled
automatic equipment, is a plastic particle processing line part.
This equipment is designed for the
loading and crystallization of plastic
particles.
The device is mainly
composed of the following
components:
A heating
chamber
A filter
A hopper with a
stirring shaft
A blender
A cyclone
duster
A blower
A control
system

3.2 Description of
system working
cycle
Stage 1: Plastic particles are
inhaled and loaded

The vacuum feeder (additional configuration) draws the PET edge

material from the large bag or bin and delivers it to the hopper
through the feed pipe.

The second
stage:
Crystallizatio
n

The purpose of crystallization is to allow PET fragments to

crystallize, raise their melting temperature, and prevent the
problem of PET fragments clumping during the later heating and
drying process. In this process, the mixer drives the stirring
shaft, homogenize the low-speed stirring material, the blower
starts, the flowing air is heated by the heating box, and enters
the crystallization hopper; The PET debris is heated up until the
debris loses transparency and becomes white. In this process,
part of the hot air is discharged from the hopper, and part of it
enters the circulation work through the cyclone dust collector
and filter through the pipeline.

The third stage: conveying

raw materials to other
equipment

The device has a PLC system installed and is controlled through a control
panel. In the control panel, all parameters can be set and monitored, and all
warnings can also be viewed.See the section "Op eration Panel Use" for detailed
instructions.

4.1.2
electric box

The electric box is at the front of the crystallizer. It consists of an

operation panel and many control and warning devices. These devices allow the
operator to control and monitor the working cycle of the equipment.

4.1.3
circuit
Each unit of the crystallizer is connected to the electrical
box.The box is connected by a cable and a power cord. There is a
circuit breaker and a fuse in the circuit.
The electrical system is designed and installed
according to the CEI EN 60204-1 standard.

Power the crystallizer by turning the power

supply main switch to I (on);
Press the "start" button on the operation
panel (1) to start the crystallizer;
Check whether the steering of the fan and stirring reducer is the same as the
indicated sign on the wind machine. If not, the position of any two phase
line in the protection switch of the fan for the three phase line, in order
to reverse the fan;

Only after the power is cut off can

the power line be switched.

Suck the plastic particles into the hopper by enabling the

vacuum fan in the Suction Control page. Set the heating
phase to start. That is, the temperature will gr adually rise
to the set drying temperature value.

If drying PET must follow the

following procedures: 120° C
heating for 1 hour; 140° C is set
to the desired temperature;

4.3 maintenance

Personal protective equipment that the operator must use during

maintenance.(See the Safety instruction section, "Personal Air Defense
Equipment").

Since maintenance can only be performed after the safety device is

ineffective, it is the user's responsibility to ensure the safety
of the equipment,

And that the equipment cannot be

powered by another operator.

The guidelines for safety and accident protection in this manual

must be in accordance with the relevant national guidance of the
place where the equipment is installed

The ideology
must be
consistent.

Unless otherwise stated, all maintenance operations must be

performed only after the power to the equipment is turned off and
the gas supply is cut off.

In order to ensure the safety of the operator and prevent injury to

the equipment, all maintenance operations must be carried out in
accordance with the specified instructions.

Maintenance operations must

be carried out by
professionals.

To ensure the proper use of the machine, use the

original parts when replacing the parts.

5.1 General guidelines for

moving equipment
Each individual piece of equipment is handled differently. Be sure to use
handling equipment that is large enough and can handle its weight, see the
"Technical Sheet" in the Equipment Description section for detailed par ameters.
Note: The 98/37/CE Directive and amendment Act must be
followed and the relevant current situation at the place
where the equipment is to be installed
State accident prevention
laws deal with equipment.

Important: Before moving components, make sure that any

movable place has been connected with the handling
equipment

To avoid damaging the device, make sure the device is
balanced or it has the potential to fall off the handling
machine,
Any damage to the equipment, no matter how small, may affect
its normal operation.

5.2 Positioning and Level

The placement of equipment should be determined

according to the procedure flow chart and plant layout

diagram. 1.5m space must be left above and around the

equipment for installation operations.

Each component must be placed on a flat surface to ensure a firm base

and avoid any rocking and additional stress. Install through the
corresponding hole positions or flanges.

5.3 Storage Devices

If the crystallizer is not installed immediately after purchase, ensure

that it is placed in a dry field with good air circulation.

Provide a protective layer to

protect the equipment from
oxidation or corrosion; Check
frequently for signs of oxidation;

Avoid storing rubber components outside at too low or too high

temperatures, even for short periods of time.If the temperature in the
storage room is high, keep the air circulating.
