hosts for the desi event of the year!
Thank you to all of u for being here
tonight
S: and a special thank you to the Drs
and our club advisor for gracing this
event with their presence.
S:Firstly, let’s appreciate how stunning
everyone looks in their gorgeous
outfits. (...) Hopefully, you all enjoyed
your dinner and were able to get a
taste of this amazing culture. So now is
indeed the time to just sit back, relax,
and enjoy all the performances we
have today by our talented students.
S: We are also very excited to
announce that you, the audience,will
be selecting the final 3 best
performances at the end (ONLY 1
BEST PERFORMANCE) (PRICE
MONEY IS RM100 + 3 OTHER
WINNERS ARE BEST DRESSED
MALE RM35 + BEST DRESSED
FEMALE RM35 + KAHOOT RM30)
ALL ARE GRAB VOUCHERS (make it
sound exciting) + The judges are the
doctors and will shortlist the top 3
performances + top 5 best dressed for
each category + everyone else will
vote for winner.
V: So keep your eyes peeled so you

I'm also loving the diversity in the
crowd tonight, Diwali is not restricted
to any religious or cultural group. We
celebrate with anyone and everyone.
So to those of you who don't
traditionally celebrate diwali at home,
thank you for celebrating with us.
We will be ending the night with a disco
session brought to you by our DJ’s for
the night Ayushi&Ragunathan.
(DJ’s greet) No one’s allowed to leave

looking forward to seeing everybody on

spread happiness and love with the

we start I think we should remind
everyone why we celebrate Diwali.
As we know it is much more than just
the festival of lights. It's a time to
celebrate the triumph of light over
darkness. We're done battling our inner
demons. And now we're welcoming all
that good energy and positive vibes,
right Subi?
On the day of Diwali, loved ones
gather to worship Goddess Lakshmi,
the Hindu goddess of wealth and
prosperity. People light diyas and
candles to welcome her since it's
believed that she favors bright and
clean surroundings. (spring cleaning
day)
:Now we don’t want to bore the

audience by rambling on about Diwali,
they’ll learn a lot more about the event
from our Kahoot game later on so do
look forward to that. Now without

n V:So now, what you've all been
waiting for… the performances! To kick
off this night on a grand note, we have
a carnatic performance (essentially
south indian classical music) by a very
good friend of mine. This is actually my
first time seeing him perform. The
pressure’s on because this is our first
act of the evening.

how much hard work & practice this
