Guide in making Project Proposal

Step 1: Assemble Your Group

 Assign roles to group members (e.g., leader, secretary, document writer, etc.).
 Brainstorm three different project ideas. Ensure they address distinct needs or service categories.

Step 2: Conduct a Needs Assessment

1. Identify three different communities or issues.
2. Interview residents or observe the area to determine their needs.
3. Take photos or gather evidence for each project.

Step 3: Create Three Titles

 Think of catchy and relevant titles for each project.
Examples:
1. "Barya Ko Para sa Baryo Ko" – Fundraising project.
2. "Basura Mo, Ayusin Mo" – Environmental clean-up drive.
3. "Lutong Bahay, Ligtas sa Malnutrisyon" – Feeding and hygiene awareness program.

Step 4: Write Separate Proposals for Each Project

For each proposal, complete the following:
I. Title of the Project
 Write a specific, relevant title.
II. Location
 Specify the community or area where the project will take place.
 Include photos of the location (Google Maps or personal photos).
III. Duration/Time of Implementation
 Decide on a realistic two-month timeline for each project.
IV. Type of Community Service Activities
 Categorize each project under:
o Food, Health, and Sanitation

o Capability-Building Training

o Environmental Program

o Disaster Risk Reduction Management

V. Department/College Involved
 Indicate your college or department.
VI. Project Proponents
 List all group members and their roles in the project.
VII. Cooperating Partners
 Identify partner agencies or groups involved in each project.
VIII. Beneficiaries
 Define the primary and secondary beneficiaries for each project.
IX. Rationale
 Explain the purpose of each project and its relevance to the chosen community.
 Include photos to justify the proposal.
X. Objectives
 Create general and specific objectives for each proposal.
XI. Description of the Project
 Detail the components, activities, and requirements for each project.
XII. Strategies and Methods of Implementation
 Explain step-by-step how each project will be carried out.
XIII. Plan of Action
 Create a detailed timeline for each project.
Use the table format below:
XIV. Financial Plan, Cost of the Project, and Proposed Expenditures
 Provide the estimated cost for each proposal and potential funding sources.
XV. Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanics
 Describe how each project will be monitored and evaluated.
XVI. Plans for Sustainability
 Discuss plans for maintaining the impact of each project after completion.

Step 5: Individual Timeline of Tasks

Each group member should create a personal timeline detailing their contributions to the project.
 Use a similar table format to document individual activities and assigned roles.

Step 6: Create an Individual Report of Accomplishment

Once the project is completed, each group member should write an individual report summarizing their contributions.
This must be approved by team leaders.
Report Template:
1. Name and Role in the Project
o Include your assigned role and tasks.

2. Summary of Contributions
o Describe your involvement in planning, implementation, and monitoring.

3. Challenges Faced
o Briefly explain any issues encountered and how you addressed them.

4. Lessons Learned
o Share insights or skills gained from the project.

Step 7: Compile and Submit

1. Group Submission: Three complete project proposals (printed on long coupon bond).
2. Individual Submission: For individual accomplishment and contribution to the project proposal.
o Timeline of individual tasks.

o Individual report of accomplishment.

Step 8: Review and Finalize

 Check for completeness and clarity before submission.
 Ensure all documents are well-organized and aligned with the project goals.

Note: By preparing three proposals with individual timelines and reports, your group is well-equipped to adapt to any
changes and demonstrate your personal contributions to the project.
