SMART Goals

“SMART” is a goal-setting strategy that you can apply to each goal to ensure that it is
capable of being achieved. This flowchart will help you determine whether or not your
goals are achievable.

“S” stands for Specific. Use numbers


#1: Is your goal written specifically,
NO or clear ends to define your goal. Say
with a clear intended achievement?
“lose 10 lbs” instead of “lose weight.”

“M” stands for Measurable. Use


#2: Is your goal trackable? Can you
