The book of Leviticus 1

1 it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire of a sweet savour unto the Lord

Leviticus 2:12-14 talks about the first fruit and how to offer your first fruit

Now if you noticed, kjv uses the word blemish in another defects

Located at the center of the Pentateuch, Leviticus is a book of law that demonstrates a concern with
many different aspects of daily life. It contains detailed laws regulating the offering of sacrifices, the
duties of priests, the liturgical calendar, the sexual, dietary, and economic practices of the Israelites, and
many other issues of ritual and moral holiness. Set at Mount Sinai in the time before the wilderness
wanderings, Leviticus offers the children of Israel instructions on how to live as a people set apart by
God, a people called to “be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy” (19:2).

Leviticus Chapter 1 Summary

Leviticus Chapter 1 Summary Summary

Into Leviticus we go, and in Leviticus 1, God called Moses to implement a new order.

God called Moses to tell him to tell the children of Israel what types of offering to God they should bring
to the Lord.

The most important detail is that it needs to be a male without blemish if it is a burnt sacrifice. Adding to
that, anyone offering should do so voluntarily.

Burnt offerings are handled by Aaron and his sons and they are to do the rituals that go along with
animal sacrificing. The burnt offering should be of cattle, but if they bring birds, it should be of
turtledoves or young pigeons.

The order of the offering and sacrifices, which Aaron and his sons handle is what this chapter is about
and the coming chapters also. Leviticus is the Levitical order for the children of Israel.
Leviticus Chapter 2 Summary

PUBLISHED by Brthr Nhmyh

Leviticus chapter 2 summary is another short chapter that dived into the offering and sacrifices to the
LORD. The chapter continued the ordinance of the offering and sacrifice and began with the meat
offering to God.

The priest burned it and offered the sweet savor to God, but what was left went to Aaron and his sons.
An oblation of the meat offering was baked unleavened cakes made with fine flour, mingled with oil.

Leviticus Chapter 2 Summary

It could also be unleavened wafers anointed with oil. Under no circumstances were any meat offerings
made to God made with leaven or honey. The oblation, unleavened cakes or wafers, was the firstfruits
when offered to God.

The meat offering needed to be seasoned with salt for the Israelites to remember the salt of the
covenant of God. This is the summary of Leviticus chapter 2, glory to the Highest!

Chapter 3

Leviticus chapter 3 summary continues the ordinance of the offering and sacrifice, this one begins the
peace offering.

If the peace offering comes from one’s herd, let it be either male or female but without any blemish.

The offerer is to bring it before the priest, before the Lord and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation by Aaron’s sons the priests.

Leviticus Chapter 3 Summary

Aaron’s sons will burn it on the altar used to administer the burnt sacrifice.
All the fat of the beast that is offered belongs to the Lord, and the peace offering is a perpetual statute
for all generations in all dwellings, that no fat or blood is consumed when eating meat offered to the
Lord (especially the peace offering)!

Leviticus Chapter 4 Summary

The fat was required to be removed as with the peace offering for burning before God. Then the whole
bullock was carried out of the campus to a clean place where the ashes were poured out after being
burned on wood with fire.

This same process was done if the entire congregation of Israel sinned ignorantly against God. The priest
made an atonement for the entire congregation in the same or similar manner as was done for the
individual.

A ruler who sinned against the LORD would follow the same process, except they brought a kid of the
goats without blemish. If a common person sinned in ignorance, they follow the same procedure as well,
except they would bring a female kid of goats or lamb without blemish.

The anointed priest would then make an atonement for them. And this is the summary of Leviticus
chapter 4, glory to the Highest God.

Leviticus Chapter 20
Summary

Leviticus chapter 20 summary begins with a death warning or promise to anyone who
gives their child to be sacrificed to Molech or any god.

Such person would be stoned by the congregation! And if you witnessed it, you had to
tattletale or snitch.

Snitches didn’t receive stitches back then, as God required anyone who witness
someone sacrificing their child to Molech to report it to the elders or God would come for
that person.

Leviticus Chapter 20 Summary

If someone turned to familiar spirits and wizards, God would cut such person from
among His people. More behavior correction is reminded in this chapter. Such as the
cursing of mother and father, the committing of adultery, or lying carnally with anyone
that is a near kin. These are all punishable by death.
Many of these behaviors bring in confusion to those observing them, like a father lying
with his daughter in law, or a man lying with another man like he would a woman.

Such acts are an abomination and they both will be put to death. God severed the
children of Israel from other people that they may be His own. They are to act like His
by doing His ways. They would avoid the ways of the world or people around them.
So then, why did Jesus save the woman who was about to be stoned for committing adultery

Leviticus Chapter 21
Summary
PUBLISHED by Minister Koko

Levi chapter 21, that is Leviticus chapter 21 summary is about what the priest can and
cannot do when it comes to regular life and defiling themselves.

For instance, the chapter begins with God commanding that priests should not defile
themselves for the dead.

This means they cannot come around dead bodies. The only exception for near family
such as his mother, father, son, daughter, brother, and sister (if she is a virgin and not
married).

Leviticus Chapter 21 Summary

He can’t be defiled being the chief among his people because they are holy unto God.

Priest Can’t Have Any Woman

Priest weren’t allowed to take a wife who used to have “fun” in the streets, or who was
divorced from her husband. A daughter of a priest could not behave like the women of
other tribes and do things like play the role of a whore (not that other tribes had a pass
on this either).

Priest also could not have blemishes or deformities, like being lame, born without legs,
be blind, or dwarf; things like that would make one unqualified to be one of God’s priest
(although he was born a Levite).
We pray the Father to add blessings to the reading and doing of His Holy Word through
His Son Jesus the Messiah. Amen!

Leviticus 22 is a chapter in the Bible that provides God's instructions to Moses about the
treatment of sacred offerings. It includes rules on cleanliness, who can eat the offerings, and the
quality of offerings brought to God.

Here are some highlights from Leviticus 22:

 Priests: Priests are not allowed to eat holy food from the Tabernacle while they are unclean. If a
priest is unclean, they must wash themselves with water before eating holy things again.
 Animals: The Israelites are not allowed to bring blemished animals as burnt offerings or as piece
offerings.
 Non-priests: Non-priests make offerings unholy.
 Imperfection: Imperfection makes offerings unholy.
 Force: Force makes offerings unholy.
 Unbelievers: Unbelievers make offerings unholy.
 Animal abuse: Animal abuse makes offerings unholy.
 Disobedience: Disobedience makes offerings unholy.
 Holiness: The chapter highlights the holiness of God who delivered Israel from slavery in order
to make them holy.

In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit descends on the Apostles and other disciples on the
Jewish feast day of Pentecost, ten days after Jesus's ascension to
heaven. The Apostles are filled with the Holy Spirit and experience the gift of
tongues as they preach the gospel. Peter proclaims that Jesus is both Lord
and Christ and invites people to repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy
Ghost.
Here are some other things that happen in Acts 2:

 3,000 souls are converted after hearing the apostles preach

 Those who accept the message are baptized
 They devote themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of
bread and to prayer
 Everyone is filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles
 Other Jewish folks in Jerusalem hear the commotion and come to check it out
 Some people are awed and others just think the apostles are a bunch of crazy drunks
Acts 2 introduces the Holy Spirit's dynamic presence in the lives of believers
and demonstrates the transformation it brings. It marks the beginning of the
Christian church's mission to the world.
