III. Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities 1. Drill – Show flashcards with different colors and ask pupils to
identify them.
2. Review of the Previous Lesson- Ask pupils what are the
primary colors and the secondary colors.
3. Motivation:
Arrange the puzzle( picture of a color wheel) with complementary
colors (e.g.., red and green, blue and orange, yellow and purple).
B. Developmental 1. Presentation:
Activities Show an image of a color wheel with complementary
colors (e.g., red and green, blue and orange, yellow
and purple).
Explain that the complementary colors are opposite
each other on the color wheel, and when used
together, they make each other appear brighter and
more vibrant.”Can anyone give an example of two

Significance - Understanding the relationships between
colors is fundamental in identifying complementary colors.

1) In groups, learners will create their own color wheel
using colored pencils or crayons.

Ask: What is the opposite of color yellow? Orange? So
on., What are these pair of opposite colors called?
