Assignment on Recollection

Congratulations for having attended the recollection. As a follow-up activity intended only to those who
attended, here are questions to be answered.

1. Why is relationship important to our service? Bear in mind that the descriptive title of CFE 5A is
CICM Mission in Action which implies service. Explain extensively!

-Strong relationship-based services transcend charity and turn into partnerships and reciprocal
exchanges. Relationships provide a place for spiritual change and sharing. The mission of CICM is
frequently centered on fostering welcoming, encouraging settings where individuals collaborate to
achieve shared objectives. Through fostering ties within the community, service turns into a way to
foster solidarity, togetherness, and a common vision of peace and justice. The CICM mission places
relationships at the center of service. It turns service from a simple deed into a process of healing,
growth, and transformation for both parties that is firmly anchored in faith and love.

2. What is your best take away from the recollection which is intimately related to CFE 5A particularly
on Justice and Peace, and/or on the given topic of your group discussion? Elaborate extensively!

-Justice and Peace are being shown in the recollection through the stories shared by brother on how
their family has thrived because of the experiences that they have encountered. On how they don’t
choose which family they offer their service with, which are pray overs. They show justice in a way that
they give equal treatment to the people they encounter and through this, peace comes alongside. Peace
is not granted when people are constantly judging people's lives or choosing those whom they interact
with. It is about equality as well as harmony. They have shown their family nourishes peace and that
they raised their children to be someone who is grateful and believes in the harmony of people. I
learned that justice is hard to give if you don’t know what peacefulness feels like. It takes one to know
and It takes one to grow.
