Preference
- Prefer, would prefer, would rather = decision in
choosing one thing between the two
Ex. I prefer to have a cake.
I would / I’d prefer to stay home.
I would/ I’d rather eat out.
Contraction (short form) = I would = I’d
1. General preference (prefer)
Ex. I prefer reading a book to watching a TV.
2. Specific preference (would rather and would prefer)
Specific time (present- future)
