ELIGIBILITY Open to all BLSS students ONLY

Age of reckoning is July 1,2024

CLASSIFICATION

Novice Swimmer
a. Swimmers who are enrolled in the any Program of BLSS within the period of April 1, 2024
to present.
b. Swimmer who HAS joined in any multi-sports/triathlon/aquathlon competition BUT not
any inter-school/inter-club swimming competition.
c. 3 and 4 year old students who joined the 2023 First Plunge Meet and was not able to
swim all 4 major strokes can still join the event.

Note: Swimmers who participated in any novice meet between the period of March 1, 2024 to July 21,
2024 can still join in this meet.

Swimmers with special needs may participate in the “Special Event” regardless of previous meet
participations.

Note:
Your swimmer will only be considered in the special event if the parent or
guardian has signified their child’s disability or special needs in our reply
slip under “Please indicate any condition/s or special need/s if any:” In this
event, the novice ruling will not be followed which means that if your
“special” swimmer has already competed in other competitions, he/she
may still join this event.
GOVERNING RULES BLSS rules shall govern the meet. Meet director shall assign five (5) coaches
to be members of the Technical Committee for the meet. All protests shall
be in the form of writing signed by the team coach and to be submitted to
the Technical Jury with PHP2,000.00 protest fee not later than 30 minutes
from the posting of the event results in protest. The Tournament Officials
shall entertain Team Coaches only.

REGISTRATION FEE Php 1,500.00 / swimmer

SCHEDULE Morning Session

Warm-up : 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Coaches Meeting : 7:45 a.m. Start
Start of Meet : 8:00 a.m.

Afternoon Session
Warm-up : 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Coaches Meeting : 12:15 p.m.
Start of Meet : 12:30 p.m.

AWARDS - Over-all Point Team Championship Trophies (1st to 3rd place)

- Medals (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place)
- Ribbons (4th to 8th place)
- Event participation medal for all participants
- Post-Event Finisher’s Certificate
- Trophy for outstanding swimmers per age-group and category based on
medal (points shall be used to break a tie)
- Special Gift Prize for the youngest entered swimmer (Male and Female)
- Special Gift Prize for the most senior entered swimmer (Male and
Female)

POINT SYSTEM Only the top 18 swimmers for each individual event and top 8 per relay
event shall be awarded with points and shall be distributed according to
the following:

Individual Events: Places 1-8: 18, 16, 15 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 points
Places 9-16: 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points

Relays Events: Places: 1-8: 36, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20 points
Note: No points for combined swimmers from different teams.

ENTRIES Closing date for entries – Saturday. July 20, 2024.

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
No refunds shall be made for scratches after the closing date.
Only Official Entry Form thru email shall be accepted. Or format using
Team Manager software.
