Requirements
Bachelor/Maters's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years experience building high traffic OTT applications in a corporate or start-up
environment.
Advanced knowledge of one or more core code languages, such as PHP, Java, C#, Python etc.
Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and implementation.
Good knowledge of and experience implementing SOA with Restful or SOAP web services.
A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Strong DB experience with a major RDBMS such as MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc. writing and
debugging queries, stored procedures and views.
Experience in MVC framework.
Experience in linux Shell Scripting.
Passionate about optimization and scaling to accommodate a growing number of end users.
High comfort level working in Agile SDLC.
Familiarity with the entire stack - web servers, the application layer, caching, databases.
A desire to quickly learn whatever you need to through research, collaboration and
experimentation.
Android, iOS, BrightScript development experience is a big plus.
Experience in AWS, Hadoop, MongoDb, Apache Solr, Memcached is a plus.
Experience with Apache Solr, ffmpeg is a plus.
