MINUTES OF THE MEETING

The meeting was held on Friday at 8:30 in the morning in School Head Teacher’s Office.

I. PRESENT
Please see attached parents and teachers attendance sheet.

II. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by yours truly to be able to start it on time.

III. AGENDA AT HAND

1. Joint Induction of the GPTA Officers, HRPTA Officers, Classroom and Club Officers
2. Turnover of the 15,000.00 from the previous GPTA officials to the upcoming new
set of GPTA Officials.
3. GPTA contribution of the parents (P100)
4. Voluntary Tagbo for school’s drainage

IV. PROCEEDINGS

Opening Prayer was offered by the GPTA President Hon. Joneper P. Bernadez and followed by
the welcome message of our Secondary School Head Teacher V – Ma’am Jemalyn S.Jacquez.
She reminds the Class advisers to attend every General PTA meeting with the GPTA Officials.
Ma’am Jemalyn started to talk which focused on the upcoming Joint Induction Program of the
GPTA Officials, HRPTA Officers, Classroom and Club Officers, and other school organizations.
GPTA President Bernadez suggests that he will personally request the presence of the
Municipal Mayor Hon. Val P. Pinat to the honor of inducting the Officials. Mrs. Cheryl S.
Dahang, GPTA Vice-President added that the GPTA Officials will donate food for the Mayor and
his constituents.

On the other hand, GPTA President suggested that the turnover of 15, 000.00 from the previous
GPTA Officials happened on the day of the Induction of the new set of General PTA officers. It
is approved by the majority. Afterward, Ma’am Jacquez oriented the GPTA Officials that the
P100.00 PTA contribution will be collected by the GPTA Treasurer and is compulsory.

For the last agenda, Hon. Joneper Bernadez suggested a Joint Resolution of Balite National
High School and BLGU of Brgy. Balite to write a request about the project of school’s drainage
to the office of the Mayor He also wanted to have it to the office of the Governor to achieve the
said project.

Tentative Schedule for Voluntary Tagbo:

For the tagbo of school’s drainage - priority Boys (tatay, uncle)

- October 10 - Grade 7 parents

- October 11 - Grade 8
- October 12 - Grade 9
- October 13 - Grade 10
- October 14 - Grade 11
- Ocotober 17 - Grade 12

GENERAL PTA ASSEMBLY
MINUTES OF THE MEETING

The meeting was held on Thursday at 8:41 in the morning in School Head Teacher’s Office.

II. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by the GPTA President, Hon. Joneper P. Bernadez.
III. READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES
The reading of the previous minutes by the GPTA Secretary Mrs. Mediza Theresse M.
Taganas was moved to approved by Ma’am Jonah A. Ligad and seconded by Ma’am Rhyjane
T. Ramilla.

III. AGENDA AT HAND

1. Proposed date for 1st General PTA Assembly S.Y. 2022-2023

3. Consultation with the parents for the student’s progress for the 3 rd quarter

IV. PROCEEDINGS

1. The first part of the meeting formally started with a prayer. The statement of purpose and
welcome remarks were then delivered by the GPTA President, Hon. Bernandez. The roll call
was then made by the GPTA Secretary to check who are in attendance.

2. Hon. Bernadez, GPTA President informed everybody of the proposed date of the General
PTA Assembly Meeting on March 14, 2023, at 8:00 in the morning for the agreement for the
Tagbo penalty. Everybody agreed on the said date and time.

3. GPTA President discussed the agreement about the penalty in every Tagbo. He suggested
that it should be signed by the majority of the parents with the notary public office. Mrs. Ludelyn
Bernadez, GPTA Business Manager emphasizes that the penalty for every Tagbo must be
promulgated. Mr. Basadre, GPTA Peace Officer said that the penalty must be implemented and
the organization must take action to make the parents obey it.

4. Mr. Leopoldo Rafosala, GPTA PIO suggested that the schedules of Tagbo must be
disseminated with the help of Bandilyo to the Five Barangays namely: Oslao, Balite,

Linongganan, Amontay, and Jubgan for the parents to be informed and notified.

5. The GPTA President encourages everyone to suggest the proposed amount of penalty for
every Tagbo.

Suggested amounts:
1. Mr. Basadre – P500.00
2. Ma’am Lovely C. Ruiz – P200.00
3. Ma’am Liezl C. Pagay – P100.00

The majority voted for P200.00 –penalty for every Tagbo.

6. Ma’am Jemalyn S. Jacquez, Secondary School Head Teacher V expects that everyone will
support to elucidate the Agreement about the penalty for every Tagbo in the upcoming GPTA
Assembly.

7. For the other matters, Ma’am Jemalyn speaks out about the problem of the school’s
perimeter fence. GPTA President suggested that this problem should be addressed with the
help of writing a resolution to the office of the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Val P. Pinat.

8. In addition, Ma’am Jacquez advised the parents to meet their child’s adviser to consult the
learner’s progress for this quarter. For them to be updated on their child’s behaviour
and .grades in every subject.

The meeting was adjourned at exactly 11:10 AM.
