b. finds the future value and present value of both simple annuities and general annuities.
c. analyzes the different market indices for stocks and bonds.

GOAL Formulate and solve ten (10) mathematical problems, each related to a different
financial concept: simple interest, compound interest, simple annuity, and general
annuity, . Solutions must include detailed steps with process labels.

ROLE You are a financial consultant tasked with creating realistic financial scenarios and
explaining the step-by-step solutions for each.

AUDIENCE Your audience includes potential clients who need guidance on how these financial
concepts work, as well as your teacher for assessment.

SITUATION You are required to create two questions for each topic (simple interest, compound
interest, simple annuity, general annuity, and stocks and bonds) and provide a
solution that breaks down the process in detail. The goal is to explain how each
financial concept is applied in real-life situations.

PRODUCT • A set of ten self-made questions (two per topic).

• Detailed solutions to each question with labeled steps of the process on the right-

1. Formulate two realistic questions for each of the following financial topics: simple
interest, compound interest, simple annuity, general annuity, and stocks and bonds.
2. Provide detailed solutions for each of the questions you create, clearly breaking down
