Just as schools needs to be ready for children and
children need to be ready for schools, parents also need
to be ready in early childhood education for their young
children. Parents are the first teachers to a child and
have a lasting influence on children’s attitude,
emotions, values and ideas. Parents play a crucial role
in the development and education of their children. It is
the parent who knows the child more intimately than
others and will continue to carry prime responsibility for
her/his appropriate development. Children of preschool
age are curious and eager to learn, they are always
engaged in doing something or other. On the other hand,
their parents have a busy life. Therefore, to keep the
children engaged in handling objects and playing with
manipulative toys and games, here are some activities,
that will be useful for them to learn and develop skills.
For this purpose low cost - no cost material available at
home can be used.

Hints

1. See that the child is safe. Do NOT provide dangerous

equipment such as unsteady chairs, small coins or
buttons, matchboxes, etc. If s/he is playing alone, see
that s/he has only such things that cannot lead to harm
or danger.
2. Before initiating any activity or game talk to the child
about how play should develop and listen to the child’s
suggestions respectfully.
3. When you are starting a new activity, spend a few
minutes with the child showing he/him how to do it,
and how to use the equipment. Once she/he has grasped
it, you can leave the child alone so that s/he will not
disappointed, bored or frustrated, and neither will you.
4. See that there is some variety, and that the child gets
enough physical play and free movement every day.
Children get restless if they are enclosed in small space
all day. Make use of the nearest open space such as
park, garden, courtyard, etc.
5. Offer plentiful, interesting challenges free to the child’s
imagination and own time frame.
6. Besides all this, try to find time to tell stories, talk and
play with the child every day. Every child needs this.

We hope that you that you will enjoy and support the activities

िजस प्रकार स्कूलों को बच्चों के िलए और बच्चों को स्कूलों के
िलए तैयार होने क� आवश्यकता होती है, उसी प्रकार अिभभावकों
को भी अपने छोटे बच्चों क� पवू र् – प्राथिमक िश�ा के िलए तैयार
होना पड़ता है। अिभभावक बच्चे के पहले िश�क हैं, जो उसके
मनोभावों, मूल्यों और िवचारों पर स्थायी प्रभाव डालते हैं। बच्चे क�
िश�ा और िवकास में अिभभावक महत्वपणू र् भिू मका िनभाते हैं।
अिभभावक ही वे व्यि� होते हैं जो बच्चे को सबसे करीब से
जानते हैं और उसके सही िवकास क� प्राथिमक िज़म्मेदारी भी उन्हें
ही वहन करनी होती है
पवू र्- प्राथिमक स्तर के बालक िज�ासु होते हैं, उत्साह और उत्सक

और खेल खेलने में व्यस्त रखने के िलए हम यहाँ कुछ सरल िविधयाँ
बता रहे हैं,जो बच्चों के सीखने और िवकास में उपयोगी िसद्ध होंगी
। इसके िलए आप घर क� ही परु ानी और उपयोग में न आने वाली
कम लागत या िबना लागत क� वस्तओ ु ं को ले सकते हैं। -

छाँटना/ वग�करण िविभन्न बीज, िमली ह�इर् दालें जैसे (लोिबया,
राजमा, इमली, चना, आिद) उन्हें अलग- अलग
रखने के िलए खाली कटो�रयाँ।

िचत्र बनाना एवं रंग रद्दी कागज, परु ाने अखबार, भरू े िलफ़ाफे / सामान
भरना लाइर्न खींचना, रखने का थैला आिद एवं रंग अथवा रंगीन पेंिसलें,
िचत्र बनाना (भावना मोटा स्के च पेन/ माकर् र बच्चों को फशर् पर रंगीन
प्रदशर्न हेतु सहायक चॉक से िचत्र बनाने दें। रंग भरने के िलए ब्रश दे
तथा सू�म गितक िजससे बच्चे अपनी मासं पेिशयों का िवकास एवं उन
कौशलों का िवकास पर िनयत्रंण कर सकें ।

बढ़ाना, स्वयं के पोंछना, कपड़े धोना, कपड़े उठाना और तह लगाना,

बकु में िचपकाएँ ।आप इन्हें मिु द्रत करने, बनाने,
छाँटने और नमनू े बनाने के िलए दे सकते हैं । आप
अब बच्चों को समान रंग, आकृ ित एवं बनावट
क� चीजों को खोजने/ अवलोकन करने को कहें।

मुद्रण (छपाई) (गितक पेंट (रंग) कागज़, प�ी क� छपाई, सिब्जयों क�
कौशल, रचनात्मकता छपाई, हथेली क� छपाई। अंगुली छपाई, सिब्जयाँ
एवं कल्पनाशीलता जैसे िभण्डी , प्याज, कमल का तना, नींबू का
का िवकास) आधा भाग आिद बच्चों को दें। (वे इन्हें रंग में
डुबोकर कागज़ पर इनक� छाप अंिकत करें ) ।

�क्रयाकलाप 30 सामग्री
रंग िमलाना एक िगलास में प्राथिमक रंग डाले। अब उसमें दो
िद्वतीयक रंग (secondary colours) िमलाएँ ।
बच्चों को स्वयं से रंग िमलाने दें एवं नये रंग बनाने
दें ।
�क्रयाकलाप 31 सामग्री
स्ट्रॉ (Straws) से स्ट्रॉ (Straws) को समान आकार में काटें तथा
आकृित बनाना, िविभन्न आकृ ितयाँ, िड़जाइन तथा पैटनर् बनाने में

ध्यान दे ने योग्य बात� :
1. ध्यान रखें िक बच्चा सरु ि�त रहे। बच्चे को हािनकारक वस्तएु ँ जैसे छोटे
बटन, परु ानी कुस�, िदयासलाइर् िसक्के आिद न दें। यिद बच्चा अके ला
खेल रहा है तो ध्यान रखें िक उसे के वल ऐसी सामग्री दी जाए िजससे
कोइर् नक
ु सान होने क� संभावना न हो।
2. कोइर् नइर् गितिविध या खेल कराने से पहले खेल के िनयमों और तरीकों
के बारे में बच्चों से बातचीत करें । बच्चों के सझु ावों को स्वीकार करें ।
3. कोइर् नइर् गितिविध प्रारंभ करते समय िसखाने के िलए पहले आप स्वयं
उन्हें करके िदखाए तो अच्छा होगा । एक बार जब बच्चा सीख ले, तब
आप उसे अके ला छोड़ सकते हैं। नहीं तो बच्चा घबरा जाएगा, बोर/
िचड़िचड़ा हो जाएगा, और आप भी िनराश हो जायेंगी।
4. ध्यान दें िक िक्रयाकलापों में िभन्नता हो और बच्चे को प्रितिदन
शारी�रक िक्रयाकलाप और मु� �प से खेलने का समय िमले। यिद
बच्चों को परू ा िदन छोटी- सी जगह में बंद रखा जाता है, तो वे बेचैन हो
उठते हैं। आस-पास उपलब्ध खल ु ी जगह जैसे – पाकर् , बगीचा, आँगन
आिद का इस्तेमाल करें ।
5. आपका बच्चा जब खेल में व्यस्त हो तो उसका अवलोकन करें िक वह
कै से खेल या बना रहा है। आप हस्त�ेप ना करें लेिकन समय–समय पर
मागर्दशर्न करें ।
6. बच्चों को तनावमुक्त रखने के िलए घर जैसा वातावरण महससू कराने
में मदद करें ।

7. अपनी समय सीमा में बच्चों को ऐसी चनु ौितयाँ प्रदान करें जो उनक�
�िच व कल्पनाशीलता क� हों ।
8. इसके अित�र� प्रितिदन बच्चे को कहानी सनु ाने और उससे बातचीत
करने तथा खेलने के िलए थोड़ा समय अवश्य िनकालें । यह बच्चे के
पढ़ने-िलखने और सीखने के िलए आवश्यक है ।
9. अपने बच्चों को अप्रितबंिधत प्यार और पहचान दें।

हम आशा करते हैं िक आप अपने बच्चे के प्री स्कूल में िकए जाने वाले
िक्रयाकलापों में उसका सहयोग करें गे और उसका आनंद उठाएँगे तथा अपने
बच्चे क� प्री स्कूल क� प्रथम यात्रा को उपरो� िक्रयाकलापों द्वारा साथर्क
तथा आनंदमय बनाएँगे।
