WINDOWS DESK TOP

To start program> go to windows desk top to the CT3000 Windows icon


Click on icon to open.
MAIN MENU

The select job menu screen will display. In this menu, user must select
New or Existing job. User may also scroll or click on other program
options in this menu.
JOB TITLE MENU

The Job Title menu will display. User should enter job title then exit and
save. This will define the job in main job menu.
SYSTEM OPTIONS MENU

The system Options Menu will display. All System options questions
should be answered in this menu.
JOB PROGRAM TYPE MENU

The Job Selection menu. User may select Torque Turn , Torque Time or
Torque Turn\Time programs.

Utilizing the Torque Turn/Time program will display TORQUE,
RPM, TURNS and TIME.
TORQUE VALVES MENU

Manufacturer specified torque values should be entered


through this menu.
TURN VALVES MENU

Maximum and minimum turns should to be entered in this menu.


Note: If the Auto Graph Expansion is active, the turns window will expand
automatically during make-up.
OTHER VALVES MENU

Top Gear Count> this entry will allow the software to determine a
complete revolution and the correct RPM readings.
Max RPM this will set the RPM window allowing the max RPM to be
recorded and displayed on graph.
DEPTH AND TALLY MENU

Depth indicates the starting depth such as casing shoe or completion


seals , packers and production screens.
Tally is used to enter the average tally to be added upon the completion of
each test.
LOAD CELL VALVES MENU

Cell Capacity x Arm length


Torque= =A To D output =Torque
Cell Sensitivity
Should Cell Capacity or Arm length be increased torque output will increase
Should Cell Capacity or Arm length be decreased torque output will decrease
Should Cell Sensitivity be decreased torque output will increase
Should Cell Sensitivity be increased torque output will decrease
Load Cell Sensitivity and Capacity can be found on load cell or on load cell
calibration sheet.
MAIN MENU

Once set up is completed the program will return to Main Menu, to


continue, go to Ready Mode.
READY MODE MENU

After entering Ready Mode check all Window ,Torque, Load Cell, and
Dump settings ,
READY MODE MENU

Active Icon
 (Start a Makeup) icon to start test.
(Bkrnd.Trq. Mon.) icon will check for torque applied to load cell in
all modes and dump system and alert operator when torque is detected.
(Main Menu) icon to exit and return to the Main Menu.
Press backspace for hot key list. This message is found at the bottom of Ready screen
READY MODE “HOT KEY LIST MENU”

The Hot Key List is designed to help user navigate to different areas
within the program from the Ready screen.
ENTER COMMENT MENU

After post test the Comment Menu will display. The user may chose from
the list or may enter a unique comment by selecting the “Enter Other
Comment”.

CHANGE VALUES MENU

This menu will allow user to change any values in the list.

This menu will allow user to change saved joint number .

CHANGING SAVED JOINT NUMBER MENU

Changing a saved joint number and rerun number. To renumber a save


joint enter the joint number to be changed then enter new number.

CHANGING TIME AND DATE MENU

This menu will allow user to change time and date setting if needed.

Make the time and date changes as needed in this menu.

This menu will allow user to change default valve setting if needed.

ENTER CURRENT PASSWORD MENU

To change default valves user most enter security password, the preset
password is CTL this will allow the user the enter the change menu.

CHANGE DEFAULT VALVES MENU

This menu will allow user to change any default valves in the valves list.

NOTE: The only default valve change that will be affected in the present
job will be comment changes for all other default changes user should
start new job

OVERLAY GRAPHS

This menu will allow user to select random saved joints and overlay this
will allow user to see consistency of make-ups average shoulders and
delta on premium connections.
OVERLAY SELECTION MENU

Select all or random saved joints to be overlaid.


For random joints double click on each joint number then press V to view.
For all graph to be overlaid press the F1 key.
OVERLAY VIEW MENU

This is the overlay graph display user can move from any make-up by
using the up or down keys. The average peak torque ,shoulder torque and
delta torque of all make-ups will be displayed at the bottom of graph..
ACTIVE JOB MAIN MENU /REPORTS MENU

The reports menu is designed to help user navigate to different feature in


the report program for editing and printing as needed.
POST JOB DATA

The post job data menu is designed to insert all company and pipe
information for report print outs and storage disk.
Follow directions at bottom of screen.

Edit company / job data menu is designed to insert all company


information for report print outs and storage disk.

Complete all information in this company data form. For report print outs
and storage disk.

PRINT POST JOB REPORT

Print post job report will send post job to window print menu. This will
allow user to print report and or send to PDF creator for creating a
storage disk.

WINDOW SELECT PRINTER MENU

Window print menu. In this menu user can select printer for report
printout or send to PDF creator for creating a storage disk.

WINDOW SELECT PRINTER MENU

Window print menu. To create a storage disk user can generate a


complete PDF report. Highlight and enter the PDF creator.
PDF CREATOR MENU

Wait - collect icon

If user would like to generate only post job report user should rename file
and save. Window print menu. If generating a complete PDF report click
on wait- collect icon this will add post to complete report.
SUMMARY REPORT MENU

Summary report will generate a quick read one liner report that will
display joint number, torques ,turns , comments and time of connection.
