1. Racism

individuals, especially women, at much higher rates than lighter-
skinned individuals. This issue arose because the training data was
predominantly composed of lighter-skinned faces, causing the system

2. Sexism

 Definition: Sexism is the prejudice or discrimination based on a


person's sex or gender, typically against women or girls.

 AI Bias: AI systems can reinforce gender bias when they are trained on
data that reflects historical gender inequalities. For example, hiring
algorithms might favor male candidates for leadership roles if they are
trained on data that reflects past gender imbalances in the workforce.

were overwhelmingly male, and thus the system became biased

3. Ageism

have better skills or are more adaptable.

people with disabilities, leading to inaccurate responses or barriers to

toxicity can manifest in chatbots or social media algorithms generating
offensive content or perpetuating harmful stereotypes.
