ACTIVITY #4

SOCRATES SAID, “AN UNEXAMINED LIFE IS NOT WORTH LIVING”

EXPLAIN THE ABOVE QUOTATIONS IN NOT LESS THAT TEN SENTENCE, THE
EXPLANATION MUST REDOUND TO YOUR OWN PERCEPTION OF YOUR LIFE.

An unexamined life, is a life where a person has his own world, don’t accept
people around him, though sometimes he allows some person, but he make sure
the person he allows is favorable to him. He is just like a blind person, actually
worse than a blind person, because a blind person has an eye, but can’t see. But a
person whose life is not examine, he has eyes and able to see but intentionally
covering his eyes to not see. In a daily basis, we live in a world where we are not
alone, but there are people around us who we are socializing with and talk with. And
some of them observe our conducts, character, and moral. Most of them sometimes
are offended by your actions and words. And you don’t saw it because you don’t
search and examine yourself, you don’t find any thing in yourself that need to be
change and improve. And that is not a worth living, because a life that has no
exploration is boring, dull and worthless. If we examine and test the areas of life and
we will be conscious to ourselves, we would have the reason to live because you
have purpose. In a famous quote it says, “Truth shall set you free” How can you,
being slave be free? If you don’t allow truth and self-reflection to enter your life.
